I made one using the paper foundation (hope that's the right terminology) method. It turned out to be a huge quilt because I wanted use it as a bedspread on a 4 poster bed that the top of the mattress is about 3 ft off the ground. I have a dust ruffle on that bed but its a queen size bed so to be wide enough to reach the dust ruffle on each side it needed to be 7 1/2 ft wide. I hand quilt. Don't ever see myself making another quilt that big again EVER

I can't imagine hand quilting one that size. You are definitely my hero!

Liked the puzzle. Don't care for the quilt. Maybe seeing the whole thing would change my mind. In close the various patterns don't seem to go well. I do lie blue tho.
Have a good sleep tonight.

The reason why it took me so long with this puzzle is because I took a long break watching the evening news.

Here in Port Pirie Sth Aust has been extremely hot, over 30 degrees. More hot days ahead before it cools down again. Rain is desperate.

And we are having heaps of rain for several days and promise of another week of it to come. Glad I got most of my washing done before the rain. Hugs corrina.

Lovely prints. I'm a self-taught quilter and have never tried a Log Cabin. Needs lots of planning when you have to work with other people's leftovers.

We're on the verge of drought here. They say it's supposed to rain Wed but they've said that for a month and not a drop yet.

Our drought is well and truly broken, been raining since Sunday - everything is waterlogged but the garden is looking wonderful and my tank is full. hugs orinoco.
