I would like that recipe please dbnc2, I've never heard of it. In Australia we do have green tomato pickle.

5 cups shredded green tomatoes
4 cups white sugar
1 (6 ounce) package raspberry flavored Je ll-OŽ mix or any flavor you wantIthis is not in the recipe but something I add1 or 2 pkgs.of kool aid to add flavor
Add all ingredients to listt

Combine tomatoes and sugar in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir and cook about 10 minutes. Add the gelatin, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20 minutes.
I do a hot water bath 10 minutes to seal
Spoon into hot, sterilized jars and seal; or, pour into freezer containers and freeze.

Thank you very much, dbnc, when this isolation is all over I will have a try at this recipe. Also, at the moment supermarket stores Australia wide are having trouble keeping lots of products on the shelves,....one of them is sugar. the coronavirus is in every state and territory and a lot of people have been panic buying. Stay safe.
