Good morning, everybody. All of those that are in the path of severe winter weather, I pray that God puts a hedge of protection around each of you.
I am supposed to get up to a foot of snow starting tomorrow and then freezing rain and ice. Thank God I am off the next 3 days. I am praying for everyone's safety, as well as those here who work on C4J. Thank you for the great puzzles.
Mamag, you be careful. My husband slipped yesterday, didn't fall, thank God, but wrenched his back so he can hardly move and is in terrible pain even if he doesn't move. Have I mentioned that I absolutely loathe winter?!??

You and me both, nhoward. Espeially now that I live where most days are overcast and grey. The darkness is worse than the cold. Anything worth seeing is blocked by private homes or at least a half hour drive away and who goes out in awful weather. I painted a mural on my hall wall so I have virtual spring to look at all year.

Prayers for your husband's back. I come from a family with back problems. Mine went out two days ago just from sitting too long thw wrong way. I probably slipped a disc. I'm fine now. If I rest it goes back in in a day usually.
1/15/2022 My farmer neighbor plants thousands of them in his corn field. The sight is breath taking to see so many large beautiful sunflowers all in rows.
Than fall comes and they are gone! Sad.

Oh, THANK YOU!! Sunflowers are my most favorite flowers in the world. For me they just shout out joy, beauty, and happiness. This has made my whole day a whole lot better! Blessings, joy, and much love for today for everyone!!
I agree, nhoward. Sunflowers can cheer up anyone and anything! Their bright color, poise, forthrightness and size come together --- and you can't help smiling!
