Again, we're so sorry about not having any patriotic puzzles yesterday. This pandemic has us all thrown off our schedules! Hope you had a great July 4th, and enjoy this beautiful puzzle from our nation's capitol. Happy puzzling!!

It's hard trying to do everything and in a time like this is now. I love doing puzzles. Just keep them coming. Are you still working on "flash"? Just keep the puzzles coming--Also love the interaction among players. We are like a "big" family for each other. Thanks!

Hey, the pandemic has messed with so many things. It's not like we would run out of patriotic puzzles to do. There are so many in the vault!

I thank you, and the staff, for the puzzles that you put here everyday. And God bless you and the staff for the puzzles that "magically" appear on our computers!!

That's alright. We understand. C4J is a great website. The pandemic has turned the world upside down. We're all trying to deal with it. We can't wait for the Flash replacement coming this fall for the website. Have a great day and keep up the fantastic work.

Thanks, Emma but no need to apologise. If we don't like the daily there's plenty to choose from and this is a wonderful place to meet good people and forget what's "out there."
Hope you guys had a happy 4th. Say hi to Kevin. Haven't heard from him in an age.

Thank you staff for this wonderful site. I'm so happy to hear there will be a flash replacement this fall. I was dreading not having the daily puzzles to look forward to and more importantly the daily interaction with the great people that post on here.

Even though this is not out where the mountains are, this song came to my mind, "God bless America, land that I love. Stand beside her, and guide her, Through the night with the light from above." The Old Girl is going through some rough times now, but if everyone acts like an adult and shows kindness to all around us, whether we agree with them or not, we and our country will pull through this. God bless America and God bless each person in it, and the world that we all inhabit.

Went to DC three times. First with parents before cars had AC and the heat and humidity were punishing, then twice in the spring with my husband. Never got there in time for the cherry blossoms but the National Mall and the museums and memorials were wonderful.
Also visited the National Cathedral and the botanical gardens.
Hope all US citizens get to see it. The museums are amazing and free. I'd recommend buying tickets for the loop buses that circulate and you can get on and off all around town all day for the one fare.
Wishing you a very blessed Sunday.

I may have mentioned this before. Many years ago I was visiting my sister and family in Washington D.C. My nephew, who was about 5 was enjoying showing us all the sights in D.C. Every time he spotted the Washington Monument, he squealed, "The MON-U-MENT!. THE MON-U-MENT!

Thank you, aussie. It was a very subdued Fourth of July.
All the more time to think of world wide problems and those confronting us here. With the faith and hope of our forefathers --- we will be a better country and world.
