GREAT TRUTHS THAT LITTLE CHILDREN HAVE LEARNED:
1) No matter how hard you try, you can't baptize cats..
2) When your Mom is mad at your Dad, don't let her brush your hair.
3) If your sister hits you, don't hit her back. They always Catch the second person.
4) Never ask your 3-year old brother to hold a tomato.
5) You can't trust dogs to watch your food..
6) Don't sneeze when someone is cutting your hair..
7) Never hold a Dust-Buster and a cat at the same time.
8) You can't hide a piece of broccoli in a glass of milk.
9) Don't wear polka-dot underwear under white shorts.
10) The best place to be when you're sad is Grandma's lap.

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

Here we are going into our brief, beautiful summer and you guys are freezing to death! Wrap up well, stay warm and stay safe. At least your winters aren't 8 months long!

Hey! Did anybody miss me? I made a move from CA to CO. Have been without my lifeline (internet) for about 3 weeks. Sure missed my puzzles and all of you. God bless you all and may you have a wonderful day.

Welcome to Colorado. I moved from California to Colorado in 1990. I've never been to Arches National Park, but would love to see it.

We missed you! How is CO? One of the few states I've never been in, except the Denver airport once.

I am in Westcliffe CO. About 1 1/2 hours fom the Springs and about 1 hour from Pueblo or Canon City. And I think it is straight up from any of them. We are at nearly 8000 ft. In Cali I was at about 750 ft. Loving it here! Thanks for the welcome.

Lucky you, nlb! That's a beautiful area! I've been to a couple church retreats down there (up there, elevation-wise! ) and we had a wonderful time! Enjoy...and drink lots of water to avoid altitude sickness. Aspirin for headaches...You'll adjust!

I know that this is out west, but I wonder if it is part of the area they call the "Garden of the Gods"....I will have to look that up. I hope everyone has a peaceful, safe, and blessed day.

Nborchardt, this is in Arches National Park in Utah. It's absolutely gorgeous and that arch is truly delicate. I think I read something that said the arch had fallen, but I'm not sure. Arches is one of my very favorite national parks.

I believe Garden of the Gods is outside of Colorado Springs, CO. It's the very spine of the Rockies and has magnificent spires. Please remember that this memory is at leas 50 years old!

Aknan, your memory is still good! I spent a lot of fun times in Garden of the Gods when I lived in Colorado Springs. It's very beautiful, but I hear that Arches is fantastic!

We've been to this park twice but never got to this arch which requires a bit of hiking. All these Utah parks are truly amazing in terms of their formations. The whole southern end of the state is like a gigantic sculpture garden of rocks.
Wishing you happy memories of trips taken.
