Difficult puzzle for me. Than again working it late evening. Not very fond of this kind of coins the British have, but money is good no matter what country that you live in.
Can you believe how ridiculoous the size of American money is any more? A dime almost looks like an abandoned piece of tin foil and a quarter is almost the size of what a nickel used to be! etc, etc.
The last time we were in the UK (2019) the 'powers-that-be' had switched their paper bills to a flexible plastic! Everyone we asked about them hated the darned things!

I would hate that too! I have family in England. I'll have to ask them about their lovely money being flexible. Thanks for the comment.
Many years ago my mother and I were on a trip to the British Isles.
Comtemplating the British currency, Mother said, "You be the treasurer and I won't have to figure it out! " That didn't last long --- when she found out that she didn't know the price of anything!!!
She became adept at converting pounds to dollars quickly!
