I thought the circle puzzle would take a lot longer, but it didn't.

Yosemite the home of Yogi Bear :)

"Yosemite Valley, to me, is always a sunrise, a glitter of green and golden wonder in a vast edifice of stone and space." Ansel Adams

"Ranger Smith: Bears are supposed to avoid people, not run around stealing their food!
Yogi Bear: I agree, sir. That's why Boo-Boo and I would never disturb family pic-a-nics." Yogi Bear

Hope you all have a beary nice day :) God bless and hugs.

Thanks mamag, hope you are keeping well and that your garden is blooming. Love the Corrie Ten Boom quote of bloom where you are planted. May the peace of God beyond all understanding, enfold you and everyone else on this day. Hugs.

All the Hanna-Barberra cartoons in the 50's and 60's were favorites of mine. Kids did not learn immoral things from these as they do from many of todays tv cartoons. Also, the characters often had positive facial expressions instead of the evil ones that so many of today's cartoon characters display.

My mom took us through there every summer on the way to Idaho. It is very beautiful. My favorite thing was the "fire falls" but of course they haven't had them for probably 50 years. Most pictures show Half Dome but there is so much more.

I remember the fire falls. I didn't think they were so spectacular. The one time I saw them, the fire was dumped down in spurts and it never did get to where it flowed down life a waterfall. They must have had a "trainee" doing it or something. I had seen the pictures they sold and really expected it to look like those. Of course, I was only about five at the time.

I saw it many times looking just like the pictures. In the day time, you could go up top and watch the coals burning that they would later push off with their big yellow bulldozer.

Yosemite is a very beautiful place to visit. I have been several times and have not begun to see it all. One time it was covered in just enough snow to make it truly beautiful and sparkling without closing the roads in the valley. We were not able to get to the higher parts but I got some very nice pictures that trip.

God bless you all and fill your lives with beauty - both visual and felt.
