He could specialize in tree houses and retire with quite a nice nest egg.

True. Not every bird has a yellow hammer. I suppose he likes it because when he puts it down it's easy to find. I'd hire him. His bill is small. I hope he's honest. If he ever got arrested the judge would never grant bail. He'd be a flight risk.

He could start at the top of the tree and build a highrise. He should consider working on his family tree, and then branch out, relatively speaking.

That gave me a laugh. Were you hoping to get a rise out of me? I can't twig if you were. Maybe I should ask our bird friend. If asked a question he tends to nail it down right away--the answer that is.

You can't depend on that friend. He is a bird-brain. Nest time look for someone else to consult besides him.

Funny. I didn't see any tweets to that effect. Thanks for the heads up. Wouldn't want to perch-ase anything defective including advice.

Free advice is worth every cent you pay for it.

I never pay for it. I just take it.

Pixi, are you also a member of jigidi.com also? The reason I am asking is that there is a pixi on that site also who sounds a lot like you.
ParsonWayne

Leave out the second also.
ParsonWayne

And the third also, too.

I don't think so. Is jigidi another jigsaw site? I try to avoid joining most places. If I can use the site as a guest I usually choose to do that. But I'm not on that site at all. Maybe I might have tried it years ago. Can't remember. Wouldn't have used pixi anyway.

Pixi, I was really hoping to get a high rise out of you.

Sorry, Parson. I'm not good at apartmentalizing. But let's not dwell on my shortcomings, okay? I don't want either of us to start housing resentment in our souls.

Maybe next time we can discuss other things.

Anytime, Parson. Let's pick things to be discussed without disgust. By the way I didn't find anything upsetting in our interchange. I was just groping for more puns.
Rain reigns in our weather today. We get as much rainy weather as Seattle. We'll probably be
smothered in snow this winter if this weather pattern continues. How's by you?

If it's puns you were looking for. Pixi, here are a couple for you to ponder:

Electricity is dangerous. Shocking, ain't it?

What part of your family can you see through? A transparent.

When I first started dating my wife she asked me what some of my dreams were. I told her one was about a T-Rex who didn't get a job because he couldn't tie a tie. She meant goals.

I wouldn't want to be the interviewer who turned down a T-Rex...that's like the one about what do you give a 3 ton canary---anything he wants. Anyway that was a funn dream to make up...probably more interesting than your "goals" if not as practical.
Are transparents transgender? Is their transformation permanent or transitory?
And about electricity being dangerous...Is that the current theory?
ParsonWayne
Nov 25, 2018
Transparents - you can right through them.
I think it was Volt-aire who came up with that theory..
Isn't gender a male goose?
pixipixil
Nov 25, 2018
Just thinking about transparents leaves me glassy-eyed.
In that case I'll have to give his theory amp-le thought.
If a male goose became a transparent would he be the result of a gender bender?

Ohm my, Pixi, you did it again. Wire you putting all these puns on this site?

Hi everyone. I'm back! Been having wyfi and internet problems but now all is well. How are you all and what have I missed the last few months? I can't believe summer is over and Fall is upon us. That's ok tho. I love the change of seasons. I think we are so fortunate in this part of the world to have four seasons. Just when you're a little bored a new season approaches. I love lots of snow and blizzards. I know that sound awful but I like to be snowed in sitting around the fire place eating hot chili etc. Then of course you get tired of that and here comes beautiful Spring with all the new regrowth of every thing. Then here comes summer, ready for swimming and beaches and lemonade. Fall is beautiful and everyone is thinking Thanksgiving and Christmas. God is so good to us. Have a good day everyone and be safe.

Welcome back Jingles. Yes, God is so good to all of us. We are not deserving of His goodness and grace.

I have had internet problems also. My wi-fi on my iPad worked but not the internet on my computer. My nephew (here from Ca and has worked at Google) came over tonight. I told him about my computer and he fixed it. I had called Spectrum and the guy told me I probably should get a new computer (mine is Windows 7 Professional). I know I will eventually need a new one. I probably will get one thru IBM by way of my neice's husband who retired from there. He fixed my computer once--worked 4 hours on it. We will see what happens when I turn it off tonight and turn it on tomorrow.

Tonight my neice and husband (retired from IBM) ordered me a Windows 10 computer which could take 4 to 6 weeks..When it comes, he will set it up for me. Then I have to learn how to use it. Should be interesting.

I really would prefer to keep Windows 7 but really not a choice. My nephew says that Windows 10 will be faster also. I hope so.

Sep 20, 2018
It is faster, elijah, but you need to get used to some of the commands. I went from Vista to 10 and am still amazed at how easy 10 is to use. Good luck!

Thanks for the encouragement. I know it will take me a while. However I have my neice and her husband to help me sometimes and Alan (nephew that worked at Google) will be here Christmas so I am sure I can get help. I also have some web sites to go on to for help.
