That is so true! Although I have not knitted for years, I do have some new yarn on hand for whenever I'm ready to enjoy knitting again.

Like you bjold, I've not knitted or crocheted in years. I made my daughter an afghan for her hope chest and she's been married for 21 years! My kitties play with my yarn thats in a wicker basket under my end table. Maybe someday I'll get back to it.

I hope you do I find it so relaxing and I am still making baby clothes for friends and some of the young ones are wanting to learn how to knit and crochet as these day's they are not taught at school and has one say's one is never to old or young to learn, so please show your friends and there young one's and let us keep the old traditions.

Yes, I completely agree. It would be a shame to lose some of the old traditions and abilities to do needlework. So enjoyable and worthwhile.
