Lol PW there are two different types of Skiing. Alpine (downhill) and Cross Country. Have done both. Been on ski trips and ski lessons as a kid. One ski trip we had to go home early. Happy New Year.

Of course you are right CA about the 2 kinds of skiing, and that's snow joke.
If anyone is going to try Cross Country skiing, choose a small country to begin with. Yes, I know that a preposition is something you should never end a sentence with.

Growing up went skiing one year and we had to come home early. We were on a family ski trip and the 2nd day in my brother ended up with chicken pox. Another time I went skiing and had a bad fall and sprained my knee really badly.

AS, I am glad that they have done away with the rule about prepositions. I am editing a book for a friend of mine to get it ready for publication. I am not sure if I need to skip the last comma in a list: example: He was tall, dark, and handsome. or should it be: He was tall, dark and handsome.

I think I have been out of school too long. It will soon be my 60th High School Reunion. I was going to go, but it is all old people there - except me, of course. Some of them are so old, they don't even recognize me. ;-)

My sister went to school with the rich kids. Every break they were going to go Skiing usually out West somewhere. Or they said that they were going to Florida. My sister arrived home one day and asked my father where we were going for a trip. He informed her that we weren't going on a trip. She replies omg whadda am I going to tell my friends lol

Good morning all, I hope you are doing well. I wish you all a Happy New Years!!! This is going to be a better year for everyone I pray. I wish I could knit, my mother tried for years to teach me, just couldn't pick it up. I can embroider ( don't think I spelled that right ) really well. Used to do baby quilts with different scenes, framed pictures and just about anything else I could think of. Very relaxing hobby, my Dad used to do it to. Aussie a little bird told me this was going to be a much better year for you and please tell Hazel to try and get her poems published they are excellant. Take care and be safe my " big sister ".
