Lovely scene.

"The universe is a trillion, trillion threads moving in seemingly unrelated directions. Yet when you look at them together, they create a remarkable tapestry."
– Richard Paul Evans

"Christmas Eve is my favorite...I think the anticipation is more fun than anything else. I kind of lost that. The idea that something - food, traditions, an arbitrary date on the calendar - can be special because we decide it should be. We make it special. Not just for ourselves, but for others."
– Kiersten White

Take care and God bless. Hugs.

I like that quote from Richard Paul Evans. There is beauty everywhere you look - whether it is through a telescope, a microscope, or through your own eyes.

Wonderful quotes this morning Aussie especially the one from Richard Paul Evans. I just sat here thinking about that quote, and the more I thought the truer it became. Thank you. Good morning ParsonWayne I see are up bright and early. Say hello to Mrs. Parson, I bet she is busy getting ready for the holidays. Everyone stay safe so we can ring in the New Year together!

When I lived on Manitoulin Island, largest freshwater island in the world, by the way, we would go out to the back of the lot which we owned. There were always trees there. One year we got a baby one as that was the year they stayed in a small apartment to be closer to the hospital which was when Pops (my stepfather) was having heart troubles. I remember the smell of the freshly cut tree. Watering it every night (lightly). Decorating the tree with my Mom, who would always move my decorating around. "That would fit better there! " And Pops would sit in his Lazy Boy chair and watch us. At the end, we'd have hot chocolate and some of Mom's baking. Oh boy. I am so sounding old with these memories. Pops is no longer with us. Mom has just moved into a small apartment. Basically a one person, geared to income. She's closer to things now.

Love to look at show, but not get outin it. That's why I don't live somewhere that has a snowy winter! However, it's in the 80's here this week. Not too much like Christmas time.
