Something made me think of this poem today so thought I would share it -
MAKE IT A MASTERPIECE
Live one day at a time
And make it a masterpiece
So He'll say proudly, "You're Mine
I'll flood you with My peace."
Take each day as it comes
Don't look ahead or behind
Live from moment to moment
Tell of His love divine.
Sometimes when you look to the future
It may be too hard to bear
Just think of today My child
Let Me show how much I care.
If we dwell on our past mistakes
And build them up in our mind
We will sink lower in an abyss
And the Light will get harder to find.
If there's a task you must do
And it seems so great as a whole
Just take a piece at a time
And set a realistic goal.
If there's a problem in your life
That you think you can't overcome
Take it to Him in prayer
Pray in the Name of the Son.
He is always so faithful
He hears every prayer that we pray
Some He answers immediately
And others after some delay.
Let Him be your source of supply
If we don't then we will blunder
Let Him reveal His face to you
He'll be a constant source of wonder.
Our Heavenly Father knows our requests
From your problems He will release
Yes, live one day at a time
And make it a masterpiece!

I've seen the Lipizzans horses perform. At birth their dark and lighten as they get older. Don't know if the above horse is that breed - the above horse reminds me of the breed.
Tell Hazel once again thank you for sharing such a beautiful poem. I'm telling you she should really try to get them published, maybe by one of the christian publishers. Brought me to tears, what a wonderful way to start the new year. Aussie hope it has cooled down some for you. Been snowing for 12 hours started just after midnight, when I awoke 2 hours later it was white out conditions couldn't see across the road. I have to see the doctor tomorrow 70 miles round trip, hope the roads are plowed. Please everyone be safe no matter where you are.
