I was not sure whether doing it or not and as it went along I quite enjoyed it, nice little face....what is actually a ragdoll cat?? Is it a siamese sort of cat?? Thank you for answer
I believe it is a persian! Could be wrong tho. But it is beautiful. Would not want the hair and grooming tho.

I have two short hair cats that I groom every other day. They shed too and it cuts down on dander! Makes their coats nice and soft and shiney.

Ragdolls typically get really big and are very laid back. As they grow older their markings become darker including a brown "saddle" across their backs. This is just a kitten :)

The ragdoll came about with the breeding of a Persian type cat and a Siamese/Burmese type until they got what we now know as the Ragdoll, a cat with medium long hair, blue eyes and distinct points, like a siamese.

The "saddle" is also very distinctive. I haven't seen it in any other breed.

We were given an adult ragdoll years ago -a real sweetie. But he was used to being in and out and couldn't adapt to 100% in. So we gave him to this dear elderly lady with a high-fenced back yard. She loved this cat so much, she asked her grand kids for a pellet gun to shoot the bluejays who were "tormenting" him. Of course, they didn't comply :)

My two cats are indoors and out in our garden. They never had it so good!!!!!
They have a running buffet and they look very smart.
Awww...I am hopelessly in love! Once had a long haired male gray with blue eyes like this pretty one. As he got older they turned to a light shade of turquoise/green. Very unusual and beautiful.

My Paulie (my rescue cat) has blue green eyes and they are just so cool! I am his ma and he says it all the time. What a little lover. So glad I took him into our little family. My dog Katie is a bit jealous but she won't hurt him. When he gets into her space she justs gives him a small ruff and off he goes. Great little family! :)

We had a ragdoll, but he was only 6 lbs. Very loveable, and loved to sit or sleep in one of our laps. My son was his favorite. He lived to be almost 20 years old. We still miss him.

Wow! 20 Years is a long time for a cat. My sister just lost her beloved cat. We all mourned!

We had a Burmese mixed that lived to 22 years.
This was just after Christmas this year, and it still
is very hard on us. We had a 25-30 lb Maine Coon that is around 8-10 years and he is spoiled rotten, besides being a huge cat.

Maine Coons are great! I had one back in New York but he prefered to run away before I could pack him up to move. Cats can be very finicky creatures!

Crickett (the Maine Coon) tolerates me, but he thinks my husband can do no wrong. He hunts thru the whole house every morning to make sure nothing got in overnite, also has definte hunting voice.
