This hat is similar to one I have hanging on my hall tree. I want so bad though, to snip off the thread from the flower petal on the hat in this picture. Nevertheless, I really liked this one.

I love to wear hats. I can only wear them in the summer when we have no choir.

That one was tough. Didn't use any options beyond the larger size.
19:25 Sloooooow. Probably having a bad day. Nightmares didn't allow for a good sleep. Deer have discovered my yard which I have, over the years, invested much money, sweat and tears in. They have devastated 2 ten foot arborvitae. I caged a number of smaller shrubs but there is no way to stop them from much in the yard--grape vines over the fence type things. My place already looks like a prison with all the cages. I'm reading that human hair no longer works.
Anybody found a fool proof method? Fencing is out. Our yard is long and narrow. A 7 footer would look awful and be exorbitant and being right by a school bus stop electric is out also.
Some say soap bars work. We are in a rainy area so spray would be constantly washed off. Do moth balls work?
Wishing you deer free gardens.

Don't some places sell some animal urine to frighten off deer? I don't know how well it holds up through rain though. Check with a farm supply place.

Sorry, pixi. And there are the people who don't want deer hunting in any form. They are beautiful, but can so soon become a dangerous pest--dangerous because they cause traffic deaths, and Lyme disease. Sounds like you have a family or a herd that have found a good place to feed. U do know they will jump a 7' fence if they can see the other side, a lower solid fence they won't attempt. But who wants to fence a nice yard? And here we have regulations about the high fence has to be 30' from the road! Do you have a dog?

No dog. My neighbor has one and night before last he must have been outside because at 1 am he went beserk. I figure the deer were back again.
Some sites claim hanging soap around deters them. I may try that. I also do have some lynx urine I will put out.
Every year it's something else. We finally eliminated the chipmunks only to get something worse. Very discouraging.

A tied dog doesn't do much good, I found. I heard him barking like crazy and looked out to see deer in my flowerbed close to him. They are intelligent animals, and had soon figured out just how far his chain would reach. I think they were saying "Nanananana-na."
