I have a very large selection of shells...most I have on shelves in my bathroom (and in pictures). Don't live anywhere near a beach anymore, so I had to buy them. Really like this picture as it seems so serene in this summer scene.

All these beachy things lately, makes me feel right at home.

Please pray for Aknan and her husband - he is falling a lot and they cannot find out why.

"Managing stress is about controlling the way you respond to events and having an open mind about the things that stress you. Learn to talk to God during the day and ask Him to give you peace and to help you with your problems"
– Michele Woolley, God's Favor - Breath Of Heaven

God bless you all as you uphold friends in prayer. Hugs.

Blood sugar or ear infection come to mind with reference to dizziness. A few other things too--they'll find the cause. ~~~

I do not know Aknan and her husband; but I keep them in my prayers this morning for her husband's safety and healing.

Prayers coming for Aknan and hubby. My friend has Parkinsons and falls a lot. She also has had mini strokes so either might be a cause.

I see Aknan on here all the time. Will pray for her husbands quick recovery and for the doctors to find out and cure what ever his problem is. GBUA

Bless you, aussie! Dear friends, my Dearly Beloved may have had a mild stroke, but his improvement over the past 3 days has been phenomenal! He was able to climb a flight of stairs yesterday, walk using a walker without dragging his left foot at all and unbeknown to the hospital staff, gets out of bed by himself to go to the toilet and attend to personal hygiene at his sink. After an MRI, CT scans of his heart, brain and arteries, along with a bubble test on his heart to be sure nothing was leaking, the doctors have no idea what actually is causing this weakness. With luck and God's help, he may come home on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday were two of the most worrisome days we've had in years, but the outlook is good. The therapist thinks he will come back almost 100% in the next 6 months. He will have therapy for his balance 3 times a week, as long as Medicare will pay for it!

Your prayers are appreciated and thank you all so much for your support.

Even though your husband is doing better, we will still keep him in our prayers. God can do many miracles.

I'm glad that he's improving. There are physical therapy exercises to help with balance issues. Ask the physical therapist if they assist with people on Medicare and/or low income patients (not assuming that you are, but, I was able to get free physical therapy because of my income on Social Security was below their income scale).

Aknan, you have our prayers for your husband and for you. Having recently gone through a very difficult time recently with my son's health I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have all of the prayers of family and friends. God is great.

Thank you all so much! My DB can walk without assistance, even from his walker, for short distances. He may come home today! Still has a little trouble with fine control, like writing, with his left hand, but it is legible. God is great and so are your prayers.

Jamie T, we are set up with both a neurologist and a therapy center that takes Medicare patients. He should start therapy next week. He does at least an hour daily in the hospital, plus the extra walking he does during the day. He's determined to get better and put this behind him.

My DB came home yesterday afternoon! He is glad to be here where it's quiet at night and no one wakes you up to ask if you need a sleeping pill! Thank you all for your prayers. He's tired and a little weak, but ready for therapy to help him recover fully.

Or shines a torch in your face to see if you are asleep hahahaha. Great place for no rest are the hospitals, not to mention snoring and other unmentionable things from other patients if you are in a room with three other people. I know you are relieved to have him home too Aknan. Hugs to both of you.
