BEAUTIFUL angel fish!!!!! My dad---Leo--- always treasured the "smaller" angel fish in his aquarium, as well as the neon tetra fish.

Oh such beautiful fish.

Good news: I have been in so much pain for the past few months and I was reminded, through prayer, of a ginger drink I used to have every day consisting of raw ginger, boiling water and a sweetener. I stopped making it because the ginger had gotten very expensive. However, I started taking it again eight days ago and am now virtually pain free with the exception of my right shoulder. It is such a relief and I am so blessed.

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

Hi aussie! I just had knee replacement surgery and it is very painful. I was very interested in your ginger drink. Would you mind sharing the recipe with me? I like to take natural remedies as much as possible because I think it more beneficial to my health instead of prescriptions. It is good to hear you are feeling much better! God bless you!

So glad the recipe was of interest. I have been using it again for the last eight days and as mentioned, the pain is almost gone. Here it is.

1 inch raw ginger
1 cup boiling water
Sweetener - sugar, sugarine etc.

Grate ginger, pour boiling water over the grated ginger and add the sweetener. That is for only one night but I make up about four days supply by putting at least 2-1/2 inches of the ginger (grated) in a pyrex teapot and fill to the top (about four cups) of boiling water then add the sweetener. Refrigerate overnight and in the morning pour the liquid off into another container and keep it in the fridge. The grated ginger I throw on my garden. Each day drink a small glass of the liquid first thing each morning and it goes straight into the system. I know you will see results in a few days. I gave this recipe to a woman who had bad rheumatoid arthritis and was not sure if it would help her or not. She didn't know who I was as I was selling books for a computer club I was in at the time but a month later she contacted me on the phone and told me who she was and why she had called. She said I would not believe the relief she has had with the pain since drinking the ginger water and I said, yes I would because I know it worked for me. And I know it will work for those of you who have asked for the recipe. God bless all of you.

The original recipe said to peel the ginger, but I found this was not necessary and you don't actually ingest the ginger. Loving hugs to all of you.

Honeybeez so sorry you are in pain from your knee replacement, maybe Aussie's ginger drink will help you also. I had my left hip replaced and it hurt, but a friend had both a hip and knee replaced and he said the knee was by far the most painful. Just try to hang in there, just know it will feel better soon. Be careful and try to stay safe.

Hi aussiesapphire! Thank you for the recipe! Have a blessed day!

Honeybeez, a knee replacement is the most painful joint procedure; the knee has five pieces that must fit together, where a hip (or shoulder) is only two. Keep up your physical therapy, drink the ginger (yes, it does work) and think positive! My best prayers for your healing and less pain!

Wow, good for you, Aussie. I believe I have heard of this before, but have forgotten. I could have used that info about 9 months ago when one leg was out of kilter and unbearably painful.

Birds and fish are the most colorful creatures on earth, in my opinion. If I wasn't so afraid of being under water, I would love to see these fish and others like them, along with the colorful coral.

Beautiful tropical fish. It still makes me sad to know that many fish, birds, and small mammals are stolen from the wild.
