ParsonWayne, do you remember the story of the dogwood tree? Its wood was used to make the cross for Jesus. The tree begged God for forgiveness and God made the tree twisted and stunted so the wood could ever be used for that purpose again. In addition, He gave the blossoms a small dark mark on the end of each petal to represent the blood from the nails. It is now a reminder of everlasting life.

Aussie you may not care for George Carlin as most of his comedy is rather off color, if you know what I mean. I really enjoy him, I have listened to him for at least 45 years. One of the first dates Ed and went on was to see him and we laughed so hard and so long our faces hurt when we left. Be safe.
These look exactly like the crabapple trees in our backyard when they are in full bloom. They are really beautiful!!

Join the group! Never a dull moment! I just got back from my hair appointment. My hair girl does it at her house. When I go depends on her hours she works at the beauty salon.
It is ANZAC Day here in Australia and New Zealand when we honour those who fought and died for our freedom with ceremonies in both countries as well as France and Turkey. It is not to glorify war but to remember those who did not come home and paid the ultimate sacrifice. ANZAC is Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. Rest in Peace.

Aussie glad for the info on your troups. It is not glorifing the war to remember the brave troups who fought for yours and my freedom. The Australians and New Zealanders were a great help during all the wars I can think of. I honour these brave souls also ( France and Turkey to ) Thank you. RIP Thanks to these people and many others we can be safe.
