Such bright, cheery colors for the mundane chores of daily life.

I'm feeling better able to cope with life today, not so overwhelmed, thanks to caring people who pray.

God bless you all.

I've been taking it on the lamb these days. No buts about it. Wool that keep you awake at night? No problem. You can still count on me.

Things are ok. Started a new med a couple weeks ago and it has me all lethargic, sick to my stomach, etc., etc. Will be going to the doc next week to see what to try next. Can''t really complain, just no energy. My 23 year old niece is staying with me for a few weeks and that is rather challenging. I do like my space the way I like my space and a housekeeper she's not! She is very loving and giving, however, so I do my best to overlook the rest. God bless you, pixi. I look for your posts all the time.

Thanks, nlb. I understand about your space. It isn't easy to let someone else rearrange your home no matter what they do for you. I hope things work out, and you find a medicine that doesn't make you sick to your stomach. Been there.

Sun shining brightly today in Md. Hard to believe Yesterday were had a blizzard that left us with 32 inches of snow. Thank God we didn't loose power.I have all I need inside and no reason to go out. I am truly blessed. Keep warm all who are in frigid areas,

Took too long. Having trouble with cursor, then discovered those tiny pastel lines were somewhat misleading!

Here in NW of England we call these 'tea towels' (the kind that you use for 'drying dishes').

The ones that we use for washing dishes (or wiping work surfaceswith) we refer to as 'dish cloths'

The ones that we use in the bathroom for bathing with, we usually refer to as 'flannels'.

One language - such variations in phrases/meanings
;)!

Here in Australia we refer to them by the same names. we also call flannels "face washers" Probably because Australia was settled by British 200 plus years ago.

My pretty ones are Tea Towels, my everyday ones are dish towels and the ugly (well used) ones are dish rags...

I participated in a 'chain letter' of sorts almost 30 years ago. You sent one tea towel to the first person on the list, and if everyone participated you were supposed to get 49 towels. I didn't get near that many, but I did get some fun ones from across the country. Still have one of them, a beautiful Siamese on a blue background...
