Beautiful puzzles today.
It is my turn to ask for prayers for my husband. This morning he went to the V-A hospital for his regular appointment and his blood pressure and heart rate were quite high so they sent him to the emergency room. After about 5 hours of tests and waiting to see another doctor they finally decided to keep him at least overnight. He has had a chest cold for the past 2 weeks and has been coughing a lot. I don't drive so I can't get to visit him today. If he has to stay again tomorrow I will find a way to get to the hospital, it is about 25 miles from here.
Thanks in advance. I know prayers really do work.

Annie, you'll both be in my prayers. It can be so scary for both of you to be away from each other during times like this. The good thing about him being in the hospital right now is that they will test him for everything to find out what's wrong. It saves him a lot of trips to different doctors for a diagnosis. The hardest part for you is the "not knowing." Hopefully, your husband has a phone nearby and can keep you posted on his condition. If not, call the hospital and ask for the nurses station near him. Ask that a nurse call you every few hours to let you know how he's doing and if there are any results from any of the tests being done. I will pray for the doctors to find the problem and that it's easy to fix, and for transportation for you. God Bless

Annie, said some prayers just now, for both of you, and hope you've heard something by the time you see this note. I think Joyce got it right about this happening at the right time, if it were going to happen -- good to be where help is immediately available! Take care, and let us all know how it goes. Cyber hugs!

Dear LuvsWesterns and JoyceRogers,
I want to thank both of you for your prayers and hugs for me and my husband. I am glad to report that he is doing well and is just waiting for his discharge papers so he can come home. All of his tests came out good and now he has to follow up with his cardiologist. He will be able to drive himself home. Thank you again and I wish both of you a wonderful day.

So happy that it was something transient, and that he's probably home with you by the time you get this. Big smile here!!! @__@ Take care.
