Just put Cherry Pepsi in mine. Don't like any kind of tea! Very pretty glasses.

Had eight beautiful glasses that got destroyed when I knocked over the top half of my china cabinet, only one survived.

The endoscopy went well today - discovered nothing but a few ulcers. So am none the wiser as to the constant cough and other symptoms I have which necessitated the endoscopy in the first place!! Guess it is all in my head lol. Thanks to all those who held me up in prayer.

"Make it a habit to tell people thank you. To express your appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate those around you, and you'll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you'll find that you have more of it." Ralph Marston

And I do appreciate all those caring people on this site. Thank you. God bless and take care. Hugs.

Good that there was no bad news. Sorry there were no answers. Why would a stomach ailment cause coughing? Are you having trouble swallowing?

I hope your ulcers are being treated and heal quickly. Treatment for ulcers has changed quite a bit over the past couple of decades. Get well!

I never know how to react when a test comes back negative. It's wonderful that thy didn't find anything harmful, but it's frustrating that they can't find what is really wrong. Could it be from reflux? The stomach can splash acid up into the esophagus and cause constant coughing, too. (Been there, done that.)

Thank you so much for putting such inspirational (and funny! ) quotes in your postings. Marston's quote is SO true!! God Bless!

My condolences to dbnc2. Prayers to all who have chronic or consistent ailments have had to see one or another for something amiss. They have adjusted my meds but I still feel tired. Well I guess I have to drag my tail behind me. But I still have a sense of humor and a smile doesn't cost you a dime.

Thank you all for your lovely wishes and prayers. Coravee you said it so succinctly (that's a big word lol) and Joyce you could be right. Off to the doctor shortly for my diabetes update. The mulberry leaf tea is magic and has brought my sugar levels right down. Doctor does not approve (surprise), but I know it is working. Hugs to all you lovely puzzlers and to all those who do not post but support each other in prayer silently.

Aussie, I'm also diabetic - type 2. The mulberry leaf tea peaks my interest. Does it really seem to help? Do you drink it hot or iced?

Globug - good news for you, my sugar levels have gone down noticeably in the past few weeks since drinking the mulberry leaf tea. My morning readings have been very high over the past 18 months and in the last week for two days they have been under 10 - not sure what that is in USA terms, I know your readings are different to ours. But it definitely works. You can get it from health food shops or on ebay, which is where I purchase it. Available in bags or loose. I know a nutritionist who swears by it as well. Just get a few bags to see how it affects you, I am very excited about it. I think 10 converted to your charts is 180. I could be wrong. Hugs.

Forgot to tell you Globug, drink it warm and first things in the morning. Tastes a bit like weetbix. I was putting a small amount of lo cal sugar in it to begin with, but now drink it straight. Hugs.

Count me in on the tea, Aussie. I'm also type 2. I just started on Glucerna shakes this past month and it's really helping even out the sugar spikes. I'll bet tea is cheaper.

I will give the tea a go Aussie. I'll let you know when I get some and get started. I have to go to the lab in the morning to get blood taken for my A1C and see my Dr next week. Our sugar levels in the US are: fasting - 70-125 and other times 100-170

My medical Dr. is all for trying natural remedies! I will pass this along to him. I was able to tell him of my success with a red apple as I go to bed for acid reflux. It has been nearly magic for me.

I have the mulberry tea but haven't started drinking it yet. It is suppose to be drunk first thing in the mornings and I sure do like my coffee first thing. So I will keep trying to make myself have the tea first before coffee.

Is there a WalMart in Morocco already? It won't be long b4 it won't pay to go abroad. All we'll see are more MacDonald's, Home Depots and WalMarts.

Pixi, there are Walmarts everywhere, it seems. We just came back from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - they had a Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco, Office Depot and Home Depot. Where Americans go, the box stores follow. The sad part is that we also bring higher prices for the local population, creating an even bigger gulf between the haves and have-nots. I shop the local stores whenever possible.

Yes they have all but taken us over here in OK, we have 2 large Super Walmarts within 2 miles of us, also we are getting a Sams club here in Moore and we also have 2 of their Neighborhood markets within 2 miles of us, they have just about put all the other groceries around us out of business. We also have 2 Home Depots and 2 Lowes with in 2 miles from us. No Costco...but do have Home Depot & Office Depot and a Hobby Lobby, Pennies & Bedbath and Beyond, and the medium size Target and two Starbucks, and at least 3 McDonalds, within the 2-3 mile radius.

PS. We also have acess within that 2-3 mile radius to OKC Metro Library & Pioneer Llbrary system which is great with me since I like to read alot, don't have to go far to get a book.

Catlady, I have dear friends that live in Moore! It is a small world! Their house was leveled to the ground in the tornado last year, but they have rebuilt and are very happy there. The tornado this year scared them a lot.

You need to get a Kindle or a Nook...as long as you have wi-fi and a credit card you can read any book you want! They keep the credit card on file, so you don't even feel like you're buying them till the bill comes! ;) They have a LOT of free books, too. I have the smallest Nook they make - it's not very expensive, it's small enough to hold in my hands without hurting my arms, and the size of the font is adjustable. I keep mine at the largest font and I think other people could read it across the room!

Yes Aussie have one of those within that range, just aross the street from the Walmart, also a Warren Theater (3 D), plus the thing that really get me most of there have been missed by those nasty tornados we have here, got things like our hospital, post office, schools, & homes, things we really need.

Joyce, I know that feeling, we have lived here since '83 and this last one was too close, hopped just over our area and not one of the big ones. Our daughter home was in it and 1 of our granddaughter was at Plaza Towers. That was a very scary day for us. Glad to know they were not hurt and rebuilt. It is suprising how fast things are getting rebuilt. It took longer for things to be rebuilt in '99.

PS. JR had a notebook, and could down load for free from either library, but it quit working and I still like the feel of a real book in my hand.

Aussie, I love Aldi's. Their food is good and the prices are below Wal-Mart, here anyway. I only have to buy unusual foods elsewhere. (Like bread flour).

My husband is the same way...our house is FULL of books, but I can still hold the Nook easier than a book. :)

So glad you and yours have remained safe from the twisters! God Bless!
