A nice puzzle! I would like to visit Miami one day! I used to live in Vero Beach in Fl when I was 9. My family moved when I was 12 because the airplane plant my mother's husband worked at shut down. I miss the sun and playing outdoors year-round!

I live in Canada. Have done some visiting of the USA but have never been to Florida. Closest was being in the South Carolinas, and knowing that Florida was just across there!

The old saying here in Florida "once you get your feet in Florida sand it's hard to leave".....that was true for me and my family.

Went to FL for first time last Fall.---the Villages which I hated and Sarasota which was nice. It wasn't as hot or as humid as I expected and the beach was lovely. Couldn't say I'd want to trade it for other places I've been, tho. Glad you love it, Judy, and that your family does, too.

I've lived in n.e. Florida all my life but my heart is in the North Carolina mountains.

I love the montains, too, Trynfindit. We lived in the Catskills for several years and I still miss it.

I live in north Georgia and about 6 hours puts me in Daytona. Also the next town south. Both are in Volusia (sp) county. That is my favorite playground. You can still drive on both beaches

Lots times we took our RV and took our boat too.so we had our home away from home and we had our 4 great. grandchildren a few times. We didn't miss very many months.going to FL.

Great picture. I got as far southeast as Alabama in my motor home and turned left, so I missed Florida entirely.

This is a nice scene. What it doesn't show, though, is the summer humidity. Financially, it's a little easier to live in Florida than California, but the sandy soil makes gardening a challenge.

I currently live in northeastern Florida, very close to the Georgian border.

For a place to retire, it's hard to beat Oklahoma. Not only are housing prices low, but gardening is a cinch! Just set out plastic plants and watch them melt in summer :)

I saw a gardening article once that referred to gardening in n.e. Florida as "Florida Flambe! "

Very accurate.
