Love wrappings like this one. Not too gaudy, and suitable for a woman or man.

I like it too. Reminds me of old fashioned wrapping paper.

This is really scary, when it takes me so long to do it. Makes me wonder if my mind is going.

Haha -this one had me guessing in mystery puzzles! Was thinking deck chairs/umbrellas and had no idea it was a present - enjoy today: we don't know what the future is - yesterday was history so today is the present you are blessed with!

What a lovely bow...did not see any like that in the stores. Hello all...it is very cold outside and icy everywhere. Keep warm and enjoy that cup of hot cocoa (marshmallows optional).

Not optional for me. Marshmallows or nothing!

You, too, Rozina. I only like the marshmallows on my hot cocoa so you have to give me your cocoa, too!

Need help decorating and stringing the rest of the lights. Using the biggest punch bowl I can find...and by the way who ever had a roast goose? Is it anything like duck? Already had my egg nog...and cookies. What about everyone else.? Isn't fun to have a party over the internet and eat anything you want without the calories? Hey there is still some canberry jelly and plenty of turkey with the crisp skin. Cheers!!!

Love the part with the skin. Can't eat much but save a slice 4 me? Sure. Let's string lights--all kinds. Maybe we can party thru New Year's. What do you think of those icicle lights that are purplish and "drip"? I think they're creepy. But I love bubble lights. let's get lots of those.

Pixipixil we actually had some of those bubble lights as a preteenager. Cool! Yeah I could keep going till the New Year. Don't forget Kwanza in Jan. 3rd and Little Christmas or 3 Kings Day. I got my Charlie Brown tree up 10" high with mini decorations on it. The lights are around my kitchen near the table. Looks nice and it is my first Christmas in my new home...and I hope a great New Year for everyone. TOOT!

God bless you in your new home, Rozina. My brother just moved to a new place. It's a bit like being reborn isn't it?
Happy New Year back at ya. errr errrr (That's supposed to be those noisemakers you spin around.)

Pixipixil I have access to a computer infrequently since I do not yet have one of my own. I am working on that for 2014. I don't feel like being reborn just like being eloped or getting married. Only took the essentials and now I need new things...the sofa was over 40 years old but was so comfortable. I can not believe the prices on new furniture these days and for so little quality. I guess I am nostalgic for the good old days...sleds, and red ryder wagons for Christmas or ice skates...now there is a sport/hobby I have not done in a long, long while! What are you doing in 2014?

Not sure. I have many unfinished projects so I'll try to clear them up while I have no job. I have ice skates and roller skates but haven't used either in over 20 years. The wheel on one roller is frozen--needs new bearings. Bought them then couldn't find the wrenches I needed to change the wheel. Now I probably can't find the bearings. The foam on the tongues has dried out, too. I'd like to hit the rink a few times for health sake but the prospect of fixing things deters. Not much get up and go. Losing my job has kind of killed my enthusiasm. I'll get over it I'm sure.

That is a big obstacle to loose one's job. You need to stay very active to avoid the many pitfalls...do they not have roller/ice skate rinks where you can rent them? I know you have to be careful with your money but it would be worth it but be careful of falling...You know those OOOPPPSSS and YEOW and all. Read some books and how about writing a autobiography about yourself or someone close to you. There is always a story in that. Do you sing? Every day when I am getting ready and cooking my meals I have a CD playing and singing and dancing along too.

I usually do a half hour of singing practice. That's what the job was--singing with guitar. They didn't want the guitar so they dumped the vocal as well. Organ had to be paid for. My salary was an extra expense. They had free by volunteers so why pay me no matter how well I sing. Been getting sick every other week. No pep so no ambition. I write. I compose. I paint and I sew when I can get to them. Lately my time has been taken up with Christmas. (No duh, right? ) Now it's putting it all back. UGH!

Pixipixil we both need a better life in this year. I have some obstacles of my own. I haven't taken down my not real tree and some figurines. But that won't take long. Seems that you are a very creative person. I can barely sing and play an instrument at the same time...but will try harder this year.

Most of all enjoy it, Rozina. I used to have stomach trouble every Friday from the tension of playing at that church on Saturday. I haven't had it since they let me go.

I wish that that were so with me. Alas not so, my fingers and hands start to shake so bad that I can not pick the strings. At home I do just fine...in front of a person or more - I go to pieces (Patsy Cline) I was told eventually that would go away...Well I'm still waiting. When I sing I suppress my anxiety somewhere in my body but then my throat gets drier than the Death Valley. But I have to remember a friend of mine said "Baby Steps"

Hi Rozina:
I have sung in church for 39 years. Sometimes I had no trouble. Sometimes I would go thru dread before hand and then do fine and sometimes I would get last minute jitters and have my throat tighten. I wish I could say the nerves stoop but you need to control them by gunning them up before you perform so they'll be mostly used up when you do. It's a painful process. I still can't control it on piano. If you have done it 3x perfect daily for a week ahead
you can usually count on doing it right.
