Have been to NYC but not to Ellis Island. It would have been great to go there and learn about the history.

At my home it is even colder...a wind chill of -42! So, I am staying in today. But it is a bright sunny day.

Got a little scared when I saw the medalists had one to two minutes added to their usual times. Not to worry, I finished in my usual 7 /- minutes for tessellation.

Today is the day! I am leaving for a much needed time of solitary rest and rejuvenation. Going to a place that promises to be filled with God's best creations - and especially, a place to reconnect with His peace after several months of death and loss. Please pray that I can release the barriers I have placed around my heart to protect it from further pain.
