Today is my birthday and I must thank C4J for the beautiful cupcakes. I'm getting too old to do a lot of celebrating, but I do appreciate the cupcakes.
God gave me a miracle today, my daughter told me she loved me. Going from not speaking for five years to me to that is a miracle.

That is so great aussie! I know how you feel. I made contact with my daughter after thirty years just last year and now we are in constant contact. What a wonderful blessing!

Thank you all so very much - I do appreciate your friendship, care and concern. Elijah she lives 851 kms (529 miles) south of me, and most of the contact now is through Facebook. And I do give God the praise and know that one day she will give her life back to Him. Hugs to all of you.

I am very happy for you as well as your daughter. It sure is harder to dismantle walls than it is to erect them. Usually they are chipped away in small increments, as they were built up over time. Go slow, but keep the positivity. I will keep you both in my prayers.
