Out of the womb and into the basket. They're probably in similar position ---- just a bit bigger! I love them. Mom is getting a rest ---- they're all sleeping at once!

So cute.

Sometimes you will think you can't take it another day. But if you hang in there, one step at a time, you will be able to accomplish more than you ever imagine." Taya Kyle

Once you have been through a certain amount of things in life, you definitely grow more comfortable with yourself. To persevere and hang in there and believe in yourself. Steve Nash

God bless and take care. Hugs.

Thanks for the words of encouragement today, Aussie. Every step seems to get smaller and more painful as I get older. I used to enjoy walking but it now hurts my back and feet so I have to force myself t go out. But we still have to keep stepping, physically and metaphorically.

Hang in there Pixi - I coined a quote which is on my signature in email which says "I am not growing old, just getting closer to God (smile)" Hugs. Incidentally, I am a keen gardener and in the past few years the garden has gone to pot. I was in despair over it until I started doing a bit at a time and lots of rests in between. Of course where I started is ready to be done again, but not so much work. But then age has its advantages in that most people are not afraid to talk to you. Hugs again.

Thanks, Aussie. My husband says the same thing.
Hugs to you also. I used to be able to garden from 7 am until dusk. Now I'm lucky to hold out for more than an hour...and that's how long it takes just to water. I've gotten most of the grass/weeds under control but by spring they will have taken over again eventhough we have very cold winters. At least I get a rest while it's cold!

Thanks Carol. Hope your back problems aren't too serious. So far mine are more of a pain in the...(lol)
than anything else but it does take the pleasure out of walking.

Yeah my back problem is nothing compared to what I did to my hand last summer. Ugh! All summer everywhere I went people kept asking omg! what did you do? I even had to quit my job.

Oh no. Carol, what happened? If I don't keep vigil my hands go into trigger finger. I had to have one of them operated on so having something wrong with your hands--awful.

I tripped and fell and landed on my hand bent. My hand swelled up and one knuckle was blue. He gave me some pain meds like Aleeve but that didn't even touch it. I couldn't get dressed by myself. Kept telling hubby help me! He took me to the walk in clinic and they gave me more pain meds to do the x-ray. It was broken and had surgery - they put pins into the hand. Right before surgery I informed the nurse I needed to use the restroom and she shows me where. I enter the restroom and she follows me into the bathroom. This nurse starts asking me questions. I was thinking "Ma'am can you please wait til I'm finished". Then people were asking me if I got mad and hit my husband. The surgeon asked if I got mad and hit the fridge or a wall. That's how people are breaking the bone I broke. Then I go and meet people - took dog to the vet and the vet extended his left hand and then I felt compelled to explain - why I wasn't extending my right hand to shake his hand. The meds they use now to sedate you - you look at the wall for 5 sec. and poof you out!

I know how you feel, I had nose surgery for a medical condition (rhinofima), and had a bandage on my nose for six weeks. Some people have no tact!!! Hugs.

That's rough, Carol. Thankfully I never broke anything. Sorry to hear people are so insensitive and suspicious. As if it weren't enough to have pins in your hand! I hope it healed okay.

Oh thanks pixi - it's nothing serious - my cats are prone to furballs and vomit....usually in the middle of the night which is less-than-convenient. They are very cute so that helps.

Glad it's nothing serious. I used to have cats. They're the best. Decided I'm too old for any more animals. Don't have the energy.
