Cute puppy!

Pastor update: Still waiting for biopsy results. I am told he has inflamed ganglia in his stomach (and still don't know what that means). One is 9 cm and one is 20, and there are smaller ones. Now to find out what is causing it. Praying it's something they can treat easily.

Baby Daniela doing well, still in the incubator as they run tests on her organ function etc. Ophtalmologist's turn today. But she is 4 lbs now. 4-5 of us at each church service, mostly prayer vigils these days.

Thank you all for your support and please keep holding us up before the Lord.

Sending another prayer right now.
Ganglia are part of the nerve endings (dendrites). I think they look a little like the nitrogen nodules on legume roots.

Yes send prayers! Ganglia - I would be asking questions and the doctor should be explaining what that means. Growing up I had a medical issue and ended up going to a special clinic. Thank heaven it wasn't serious but it could have been.

Did a little online research. It could be cysts, or it could be inflammation of the nerve endings due to infection or irritation (food intolerances etc). Since they did a biopsy it's probably cysts. Let's hope and pray they are benign.

Thank you all for your prayers. It means so much to tell him that there are prayers going up around the world! You should have seen him smile.

If it raises his spirits that can help him heal, too.

This puppy looks like the ones that our police are having when they get older so I think there will be people looking after them till they get older and then you give them back so they can work with the police and become great watch Dogs and lots more things.

I think I was 12 or 13 when we got a German Shepherd puppy for Christmas (usually not a good idea because of all the other things going on, as evidenced by his running under a table and relieving himself from anxiety). As he grew up, he showed signs of being a pretty intelligent animal - after obedience training. He was very protective - at one point, we had a neighbor with 2 Doberman Pinschers who came into our front yard. Our German Shepherd jumped through an open window and attacked both Dobermans to get them out of the yard. Once they left the yard, he left them alone. Another time, a friend of my mom's visited us with an infant who loved crawling to check things out. Our dog would block the doors to other parts of the house to prevent the child from getting into the kitchen or anywhere else outside of the living room. The baby was trying to crawl over him, was pounding on him, and our dog just laid there blocking the door with this look on his face of "please take this little person away from me."

When my oldest daughter was little the shepherd we had at that time would do that. And the dog would lay in the living room doorway when our daughter was taking her nap and block anyone from going out of the living room.

Our boxers would do that - my Mom would put my little brother and me on the couch and tell the dogs to not let us get down. She knew it worked when she heard us crying!
