Beautiful collection of sea things.

Once again I am asking for prayer. My daughter and I have been estranged for several years and recently got in touch with me and I consequently had contact with my two grandchildren. My granddaughter has decided she is transgender and has given herself a new name. I didn't even know what transgender meant. I found it very hard to call her by her new name and got a message from her today stressing that I call her that. I wrote back and said I would call her by her new name but that she would always be her old name to me I am not even sure what to ask for in prayer, perhaps that I can accept her decision etc. Thanks in advance for your prayers.

"The Christian life is not a constant high. I have my moments of deep discouragement. I have to go to God in prayer with tears in my eyes, and say, 'O God, forgive me, ' or 'Help me.'" - Billy Graham

Good night and take care. Hugs.

I wonder if I'm a grandpa. I'm glad you have contact.

Thanks abacii - we were chatting on Facebook this morning and she has at least agreed not to call me by my Christian name, but will call me Gran, so am very pleased about that. Hugs.

Aussie, sounds like Chloe/Kastor (where do they come up with these names? ) is slowly coming to terms with her family and calling you "Gran" again is part of that. So glad she's in contact. Like many older teens, she is searching for the elusive "herself" and will need your support. In the meantime, I'm praying for you to be able to be there when she needs you. Hugs, many of them!

Yes Aknan, have come to terms that this is to be at the moment but also know the power of prayer and how it changes things. Love you both. Hugs

You and me, both. I loved collecting shells on whatever beach we happened to be on a family vacation. Blessings!

I came on late today. Getting things ready for my move the weekend of the 25th. You know, it's not as easy to move now as it was when I was 20! lol

Yeah - Lucky you - I want to move I'm begining to not like the state. Why does everyone have to be in other ppl's business. I'm not in other ppl's business. Was concerned when a neighbor comes and tells me oh didya hear about so and so - she has cancer and the most agressive form. Oh this nurse told me. Thought there was a code of ethics that they had to follow.

Code of ethics...not just for the nurse, but for the neighbor, and all of us.

Good thought, rahrah. We should all think before passing on gossip, but unfortunately, our tongues don't have restraint sometimes.

If you are talking about Sanibel Island, it really isn't or at least I don't think so.

Yes - Sanibel I was told that it's the shelling capital. Ugh! A friend of mine lost her hubby 2 months ago and last night lost her dad.

So sorry for her and so close together. As for Sanibel--have been there and now too over-populated.

Ugh! Such sad news to hear about Aretha Franklin and her passing. Turns out that she died on the same date as Elvis. I thought everyone knew who she was. Then hubby says oh c - he said he was a foreginer so how would he know.

That went pretty fast. Love seashells.
Please pray for my sisetr-in-law. She has been sick for weeks and is seeing the gastro tomorrow. Her GP hasn't helped or diagnosed what's wrong. We seem to have had the same thing and I was treated for diverticulitis but she was never diagnosed with it. I just finished the meds yesterday and hope they did the trick. They made me feel so bad I can't tell if I'm better or not yet. Just getting past the meds is making me feel better by itself. I hope the attack of whatever it was has been demolished by them.
Hope you are feeling energetic today.
