Sheep can be almost like pets - I remember one year at the Missouri State Fair, my dad and I was walking through the almost empty Sheep Barn (it was one of the last days of the fair) - walking past this container, 3 sheep jumped up to put their front feet (paws? ) on the edge of the container acting really happy to see people. We started petting the sheep like they were house dogs and they started licking our hands and arms.
