Reminds me of White Sands National Park, but that was stark white.
Same impression --- I felt like I was on the moon. We couldn't see anything but the sand and the sky. Truly awesome.

Went there many years ago. Yes white compared to this but not as stark white as I expected. Also had a lot of puddles. Guess we were there in the rainy season.
