Going through something ugly doesn't mean you have to be ugly. I came home from work one day in 2013 and found that my husband had walked out on my and joint account money! That was as ugly as my life had been and I was hurt beyond understanding. What kept me going was my Faith, which included lots of prayer, lots of venting to close friends, and music. I survived, I think, by never looking at myself as a victim. My mother did not raise any wimpy daughters. To quote the song, "I picked myself up and started over again". But never ever would I have made it if I did not have an unshakeable belief in God and His grace. Blessings to all.

Dear nborchardt, believe it or not the same thing happened to me except that he said he was going out, gave me a passionate kiss goodbye and I haven't seen him since. That was nearly three years ago. The good that came out of it all was that I am now content in my circumstances which has not been the case for many years. So much has happened in that three years and so many things I have discovered about him. So sad you had to go through that nborchardt. And I don't know what I would have done had it not been or my faith. And God is faithful. Hugs.

He has and I have no intentions of leaving His path. And, aussie, sorry you had to have that happen, but we are both stronger for it and are living our lives better than before. Blessings to both you, Ladies!

Good morning nlbuchanon,
He is not doing to good., his breathing has been way off and his sugar is up again. This humidity is taking its toll on him. We had to use the wheelchair to get him church Wednesday night. We had to miss Sunday service because he was sick to his stomach. I don't know what is wrong..I thank you for asking.

Sorry he's not doing well. Praying for God's intervention and strength. Hope he improves soon.
We got a rescue schnauzer mix last year and he's the best dog too. Lives to please us.
