The ambulance came and said that it was a reaction that sometimes occurred but it didn't bring out a rash which would have been quite serious. Really, never a dull moment around here lately, and beginning to feel a little of what Job went through.
Aussie, keep benedryl gel and tablets around for stings like this. Take a tablet (unless you're allergic to benedryl, of course) and rub the gel on the sting. If you don't have either, make a think paste from aspirin and water and pat it on. Takes the histamines, swelling and itch right down.

Actually, puzzles depicting food often turns me off. This is a normal one, though. The puzzles I really dislike are those where the ingredients are seemingly strewn around on the table where the finished product is displayed. We must wonder how safe food is to eat if the preparation was so messy. Ugh!
Doesn't matter what kind of food you eat for which meal. A sandwich is just as good for breakfast as pancakes are for supper.

Last day before temps go down here, 50 hi today but after that in the 30's & below. We had hot dogs last night for supper, with cottage cheese & pork & beans out of can. Your chili sounds better to me.

I do "4 bean chili in the crockpot. If you would like the recipe I will send it to you. The only thing you do on the stove is brown the ground beef. Everything else goes into the crockpot.

Will send it to you when I have some time to write it. House is now all painted and sidewalk/driveway done so will try to get back to normal. Only thing is the shutters for the 2 front windows are on back-order so will have to wait for them.
