A face only a mother could love ;)

Some interesting data "Rhinoceroses are large, herbivorous mammals identified by their characteristic horned snouts. The word "rhinoceros" comes from the Greek "rhino" (nose) and "ceros" (horn). There are five species and 11 subspecies of rhino; some have two horns, while others have one."

I developed a rhinofima on my nose and had to have a rhinoplasty. This was some years ago and I often wondered "why the names" and because of this very educational site, I now know lol.

Good night and God bless, staying up a little later tonight to see what happens with the final five in the cave in Thailand. - hugs.

Oh, and those two animals are under armed guard 24/7. The last poachers who tried to harm them were eaten by lions. Fitting, I think!

Yes it is. Trampled by rhinos might have been even better.

Yeah - What two animals were eaten by lions? Trampled by rhino? Rhinos are solitary animals. Trampled would be by elephant not Rhino. Rhinos hide are extremely tough. There under armed guard 24/7 - there are rangers but these animals aren't watched 24/7. If they got rid of the demand of the tusks and horns then that would get rid of the problem. I had to go to the doc because of the rhino virus - hay fever. I was over in East Africa and have seen Rhino and Elephant. At the time there was a news article regarding an incident involving a mother elephant her calf and a baby rhino. Elephants are so massive that my mother asked a safari driver if they've ever ordered passengers to "Get down on the floor Now! ". Why say these words - elephant charging.

Oh poachers eaten by lion. Anything could have gotten them. Watched a tv show where the crew etc. was in Botwana. Out in the bush and suddenly a man looked in the distance and was ready to climb a tree - reason a lion is what he saw.

In a way the only animals that could enjoy eating a poacher is the vulture--others would be turned off by their rottenness...which they are through and through.

There's a baby rhino at the Cincinnati Zoo named Fiona - she's on Youtube and many ppl are following her. One couple got engaged right at that aquarium and infront of her. Guess who stole the show while the bf was proposing - you can watch this on Youtube as well - so cute and funny!
