Today I am 71.
Would you please pray the second mammogram to decide if I have cancer comes back negative? I go in on April 4. I just learned today is the Feast of St. Margaret who suffered martyrdom by being crushed to death. Hmmm. I'm definitely asking her for help, too.
Wishing you a sense of humor for the ironies of life.

I got a good laugh out of that one pixi! If we can laugh through the most crushing trials they become much easier to "bare". Praying nothing shows up God bless you.

Happy Birthday and yes I'll pray for you. Went to a doctor earlier this week. She asked questions that most people can't recall. Question - what did you do last yr. in Jan. until now? Then she asked if one doctor is a surgeon and he is. Just found out I'm having surgery. Ugh! This will be my 8th.

I'm laughing, too, but I'm trying to not think about it too much...I found a lump about a month ago, but I'm putting off seeing my doctor because he always thinks I'm a hypochondriac. He's the one that wouldn't believe the MS test results from my neurologist because I looked too "healthy." Now I can hardly get out of bed because my treatment was so delayed. I'd change doctors, but it's such a hassle with insurance. Pixi, I hope your diagnosis is good. It'll give me hope!
By the way,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Joyce if you found a lump I'd seek a doctor immediately. I knew a woman who had a history of cancer in her family. She found a lump and her doctor dismissed it knew the history. She ended up with a double mastectomy and chemo. She was such a great person and really miss her.

Prayers and thoughts to you, JoyceRogers, as my husband was recently diagnosed with MS. Because he has had other medical issues, degenerative disc disease (causing him to have to have a spinal fusion), and Hereditary multiple exostoses (MHE - in his case he grows excessive bone, often in joints, such as bone spurs, bony protrusions, etc.), he was only recently diagnosed with 'acute relapsing MS.' It's a very frustrating disease.

Joyce, you sound like my husband who would always rther stick with what he has than suffer through the inconvenience of change. I can sympathize, but in this case you need to make a change and get the lump looked at. Pretending won't make it disappear..

Pixpixil, I will pray that all is well in your body and spirit. Remember that no matter what happens to us in this existance, the hope and assurance we get comes by a faith in Jesus Christ. He alone died for our transgressions. When I was 34 I left my house and I never went back to it. I had a catastrophic accident and my life was never the same again. None of us know the time or place of our death, no one knows from one day to the next what trials we will encounter, but remember when we are in relationship with Him we are NEVER alone. God bless you.

JoyceRogers if you found a lump go to the doctor immediately. If he won't listen keep going to another doctor till one listens. No matter what you have to do with insurance. The sooner it is seen to the sooner it can be taken care of and you be good!!! We want you to be good. Please have it seen to quickly. You have to be your own representative and only you can! Please keep us posted. We care!

Sisgp--so sorry you had that awful accident. Your strong faith in Jesus is a great gift. Clearly it has seen you through. While I hope for that kind of faith I still hope I will get a good report. Thank you for your prayers for body and spirit. Much appreciated.
Marine, thank you for your good wishes and prayers.

Joyce - I hope things improve for you. If your treatment for MS was delayed because your doctor didn't believe the test results, I would contact an attorney.

Carolsapple - I hope your surgery goes well.

So sorry to hear about a horrible accident. I myself should have seeked medical treatment immediately. A couple of months ago I wasn't feeling well. I thought it was due to a stomach problem. I was anemic and didn't know it. I ended up in the hospital and now having surgery soon. The hospital thought I was bleeding from the gut. The doctors at the hospital suggested I see an OB/GYN. I now have pain and some days I have to take pain meds.

Thank you all for your concern. Trynfindit, my experience sounds almost identical to your husband's. So frustrating! Puzzlelover20, I already had a regular visit scheduled to see my PCP, so I decided to put off going in until then. It's next week, so I should be okay. These days I have to ration out how many times I leave the house because it's a huge ordeal to even get dressed. So I combine all my efforts into as few trips as possible. Life for the last Four years has been one adaptation after another! God has guided me through every one, so I know He'll handle this one, too. I'm not worried about it, no matter what the outcome!

Such a pretty sight.

If you have been getting news of our first cyclone of the season (Debbie) it is about 1200 kms from here. We will probably get the tail end of it in the form of rain.

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

Thanks olamae and rahrah. The sun is out here at the moment and the cyclone is expected to cross the coast tomorrow. Those in the firing line have all been evacuated or told to bunker down. Our cyclones do as much damage as your tornadoes. God bless you both. Hugs.

I grew up in the Boston, MA area and have lived in the Midwest for 60 years; I traded hurricanes for tornadoes. Hurricanes can hang around for days, where as a tornado hits and leaves fairly quickly. However, both are pretty scary.

I wouldn't want to be in the firing line either! Being a military brat, I have been in every weather situation except volcanos erupting. Stay safe and will keep you in my prayers.

In May we have what is called "The Tulip festival" where over 300, 000 tulips bloom. It is a beautiful sight, where you can walk along paths and see them, along with some of the trees that are flowering at the same time, such as crab apple trees, and lilacs.
