Beautiful and didn't take as long as I thought it would. Seems the middle came together fast and then the rest was easy.

That's the correct spelling, animal. I have a story about that word. It was part od a spelling contest. ONe student picked a word and we each got a turn to guess the spelling. We had it narrowed down to all but the "e" which I did a toss up in my mind on my turn (soundwise it could have been a, u or e) and guessed e and won. Another girl who had not been called on yet would have guessed that, too and accused me of stealing it from her. That I had looked at her answer and given it but I got it on my own. She was supposed to have been a genius so I guess she thought she was the only one who could get it right.

Thanks. Love the story. Congrats for getting it right. I am almost the worlds worst speller and guessed at that spelling. I am glad I got it right. Sorry for the late reply but just got back from a 2 week vacation late last night and just got time to check my chromebook and do a few puzzles I have definitely missed doing. I was at my Uncle and Aunts house in Idaho and they have no internet so I kept my Chromebook at home. I now have LOTS of fun puzzles to catch up on.

Hi animalvr: They must be in the mountainous area. I saw there was no cell phone coverage there. We plan to visit idaho & Yellowstone this summer. How do you like visiting and how long have your aunt/uncle been there?

My mother and Uncle were born on the farm in Nezperce Idaho. It is a little town of 437 people. My Uncles farm is 13 miles North of the town. Nezperce is about 40 miles from Lewiston which is the closest big town. It had around 35, 000 people. I just love being in their rush hour traffic. I think it is a big joke since I lice in Torrance, CA just south of Los Angeles where every town runs together with over 3 million people. Look at a map and find the state line between Oregon and Washington and follow it East just across the Clearwater River to Idaho and there is Clarkston on the Washington side of the river and Lewiston on the Idaho side, Yes, they were named for Lewis and Clark and Sacajawea, the explorers. Yellowstone is wonderful. We have been there many summers and snowmobiling with my Aunt and Uncle once after I was married. My Aunt and Uncle have over 2000 tillable acres of farmland in wheat, peas, barley, and blue grass seed. I have a small 200 acre farm I inherited which I rent out. I wish you a wonderful trip. It is so beautiful and quiet up there.

The farm is up on the prairie where it is fairly flat but all roads leading to and from and around are curvy mountain roads. Really fun to drive.

That's my brother's specialty. The twistier the road the better he likes it.

I was busy planting things for my Avairy. I checked all the plants that were non toxic....I purchased 8 different flower plants and a Papaya tree for them.....they ate the all..........down to the ground.
They even ate 1/2 of my Moringa tree.
Well I guess they will live a long life with all the vitamins I supplied for them....actually 2 lovebirds wiggled their way out and I found them sitting on the outside of the Aviary, trying to get back in. haha
I let them in. Guess they saw the hawks and figured the Aviary was the best place to be..you know.....food and safety.
Got to love them.

Judy2014, reminds me of a story. Many years ago a college friend and I bought small Dieffenbachias and we were going to see who could grow their's faster. I called her the next day to tell her she'd won. Came home from school and my cat had eaten it down to the dirt! Found out later they are potentially toxic to kitties, but she never showed any symptoms.

Well, the Moringa tree is called the Tree of Life. :)

What other birds do you have along with the lovebirds?

You must live where it never gets cold, Judy. An aviary sounds wonderful but I'd want butterflies, too and that means caterpillars eating the plants as well.
My mother used to live in AZ and said she never got to see any gazanias because the birds ate them.

To answer a few questions.
kjd....Glad the kittie made it. I guess the plant was not as bad as claimed. But birds hummm.

trynfindit....I love Moringa...so many vitamins, actually my birds ate most of my tree..They are some healthy birds..I rescue birds...so now I have 2 Cockatiels, 5 Ringneck Doves, 29 Parakeets and 4 Lovebirds oh and my African Grey and pet chicken.....its so wonderful to see them fly in a natural setting....the aviary is about 60ft long and 10ft wide.....a lean two on both sides for shelter. A running fountain for water and in winter I have heat lamps set up.
But here in Florida its mostly warm year round.
pixipixil......First I make sure the plants I buy do not have any nicknoids (chemical) that harms butterflies and bees....then I use chicken wire to cover the top of the entire aviary to keep out raccoons and cats and hawks but it lets the bees and butterflies come in...outside the aviary I have plenty to attract the lg butterflies....they are so beautiful..yesterday I saw one bigger then my hand. I am so enjoying this project.

How nice it would be to see a picture. I don't use social media as I fear hackers. This site with its enforced annonymity is perfect but sometimes....

Beautiful red. Does anyone know the flower? Looks a bit like a dahlia.

Good night dear friends and God bless. Hugs.

The write up says it's fragrant and although chrysanthemums do have a smell of sorts, it isn't very pleasant in my opinion.

You are right pixi, I have about five different coloured chrysanthemums all in flower at the moment, no fragrance but beautiful. I have never seen a red one though. Perhaps Mr Google will have an answer for us :) Hugs.
