Like pistachios but miss the colorful red shells. I have to get used to the plain ones. I still like the red ones better. They looked more like pistachios then. I guess they changed them because people were allergic to red dye. Blessings everyone, Nancy OFS
Nancyofs I also loved and miss the red and white pistachios. The red and white ones used to come from Iran I believe and that's why we don't see them any more, although I think for a while they made them red here so you are probably right about the red dye. The old ones were salty and would make my fingertips red, sure miss them. Yummy! Be safe and blessings to you also.

My family still laughs until they practically pee over my falling down at a haunted house one year and my inability to get up afterwards because I was laughing so hard. Yeah, this is my claim to fame with them! LOL! Have many many blessings today, aussie!
