Loved doing this one. Not a bad time since I had a coughing and a sneezing spell while doing it. My sister used to collect penguin stuff!

No porblem or sickness. I guess it was just my time to cough and sneeze. However, I have a sorority sister that has MS. Right now you would never know it. However an aunt of mine had MS and it was awful. But that was about 70 years ago.

As I've mentioned before, I have MS, too, but my coughing is minimal and just in the mornings. I only sneeze once in a great while. I envy those MSers that don't seem to have any problems. I'm one of those in the 'awful' category. But it's the life that has been given to me, so I have learned to look for the blessings! (Like, I'm still alive to enjoy my grandkids! ) Ahchoo! God bless you!

My sister also has MS and she coughs frequently too. I noticed her one leg is starting to drag a little more than usual. But she is strong and does not complain. She accepts things the way they are. I am surrounded by some very strong women.

Joyce, my name is Joyce also. I havd a sorority sister that has MS but it doesn't show YET! She only eats certain foods, even at restaurants. She is very active in sorority. You would never know she has MS. However one of my aunts had it who was a nurse. She passed away 60 years ago when they knew very little about it. In fact she was a good friend of the "real" Emily Post who lived on Martha's Vineyard near my aunt.

Nice to meet another Joyce! Yes every person with MS is different. It really is an "invisible" illness, so sometimes it's hard to tell. Young people react differently than older people. Diets will help some, but not others. There are a lot of symptoms associated with MS, but not everyone gets the same ones. It's like a grab bag full of awful things, and you reach in and get what you get! That's why it's so hard to diagnose. My health history shows I probably got MS around age 18. Then I had "relapses" every few years, but my doctors never put 2 and 2 together that it could be an autoimmune disease. It wasn't even considered until I had several neck and back surgeries that I couldn't recover from. After I lost mobility, one of my doctors finally decided to do a spinal tap. The results were impossible to miss. I was diagnosed with MS at age 63 and by then, my body was too far gone to rehabilitate. Most people fight the disease with exercise and diet, but I'm too tired to fight. I have decided to just relax, ignore the pain till I have to take meds, and enjoy life from my bedroom. I know where I am going eventually, and I'm looking forward to it! So I'll try to face it bravely!

Your aunt sounds like an interesting person!

Sorry for your condition. However, you have a good attitufde. Just take one day at a time. That's what I do. I do what I can and don't worry about the rest of it. My attitude is to enjoy life as long as I can and be happy. I'm 81 now. Can't do what I used to do but life goes on and I'm going to enjoy it while I can. I loved my aunt. She lived on Martha's Vineyard and would come up occasionally. I loved when she came and told us all the stories about Emily Post. I still miss her even tho it has been many years.

Looks like the kid made one of those remarks that everybody's thinking but is too polite to say, and the adults can't quite believe it!

Hahaha funny interpretation orinoco. Wouldn't it be great to see penguins in the wild? I loved "March of the Penguins" and should watch it again.

Good morning to all. Orinoco that was was funny, perfect really does look just like what is going on. I have been collecting penguins for over 30 years, have hundreds from 3 feet to 1/4 inch. Most are packed away and I exchange them
so I can see the different ones. My most prized one is an embroidered one that my father made, frame and all. It was a birthday present. Hope everyone has a wonderful day and be safe.

Jake loved penguins too. He had quite an interest in them. Joe bought me a set of penguins to replace the one I broke. They are specially made with his name and birthdate on the one and the other one has the date of his passing. They are from a gifting catalog. The penguins are made of heavy metal so they will not break. I cried when I saw them and they will be treasured for life.

My son used to love penguins also. I even had a set of ornaments for the Christmas tree. I made one for him out of plastic canvas when he was young and I still have it. I broke the last ornament this past Christmas which tore me apart. I literally broke down and cried. One penguin is at the hospital for the Compassionate Friends memorial tree. The other one I broke. Jake studied penguins in grade school and had a growing fondness for them. I miss him so much!!!

Quit leaning on me, Uncle Stan. I'll wake up with a rye neck.
The only one awake is the baby. All the others have their eyes closed.
