Very hard puzzle...Some of my favorite nuts. Love pecan pie although can not at much..Too sweet and sugary

I make with brown sugar not syrup still to sweet
makes 2 pies I make them thanksgiving and put one in freezer for Christmas

Love pecans. My sorority sells them for their money-making project each year. We order from the same company every year so we get some of the first batches that come off the trees. They come from Georgia the end of October! Delicious!

Hope these pecans are destined to be a pie!
How do you pronounce the name of these nuts? I had a gentleman friend who said "PEEcans". I have said "peCONS" all of my life. Same nut, just different parts of the country I suppose. Of course, it should be pronounced my way, right?

It is peCONS. NOT the way Paula Deen says it. I am from the south and I do not know anyone who says it like she does.
