A recurring theme - cookies that I like. We never used a potato masher. I'll have to try it. We always just did the criss-cross pattern with a fork.

I like the fork pattern better.

That is how we always did with the fork...that is the only way I will eat peanuts or peanut butter. Don't even like peanut brittle.

Just love peanut butter cookies, actually just love cookies. Snicker doodles, butter cookies, oatmeal raisin, Oreo's....just found out that Oreo new Mocha flavor is coming out. What's there not to love, coffee and chocolate together! :))) I've never used a masher to flatten out the peanut butter cookies, just the fork method.
Have a great day. :)

They also a seasonal one that they call "Key Lime", I like those only eat one every so often (high in sugar)!

All the Oreo's are high in sugar. Sometimes I buy the "knock-off" version of the regular Oreo's, less expensive, a bit smaller and not as much filling. I have two of those and am satisfied. :))

Yeah, cookies aren't exactly diet food but Oreos have a better texture than some of the knockoffs. Exciting to hear about all of the new varieties but I guess I will enjoy them vicariously. Though, the mocha flavor is very tempting.

My first thought when I saw the Oreo "Thins" was that it was just a marketing ploy - skinnier cookies saves manufacturing costs - but I think they actually taste better than the regular Oreos.

I've never seen Oreo Thins. I'll have to keep my eye out for them.

I found Oreo Thins, 4 varieties. I chose the mint ones and they were delicious. I think I do like them better than regular Oreos. I definitely should not have them in my house.

LOL. I know, right? Why eat a few when you can devour the whole bag?

Look at this way if you only have 1 a couple of days each week, they will last you forever....

I can't have just one, it's got to be 2 cookies and my cup of tea in the evening. :) It just soothes me and ready for the night. :))

Good to see you are on, got thru the storms, have some again tomorrow then it's suppose to nice until next weekend. Going to daughter's tonight for granddaughter's 15th birthday party, just family & close friend, they are having the kids party later on in the week. Other granddaughter & boy friend came up last nite & fixed steaks & corn, baked potatoes on our grill really good. Went to grocery this am, at the big store got my no sugar cookies & other things we can't get at the smaller stores. Found some sugar free choc. covered graham crackers (not bad & I have 3 of them before bed. Take care...hugs for us & nose touches & purrs from Crickett.

I go to bed around 10pm on this side of the world. Unfortunately, I wake up at 4:30 in the morning and can't go back to sleep, so I just stay awake; work on the computer or do housework. I don't know why this happens.

I can remember when I wondered if I would EVER be able to sleep all night without interuptions. We raised 8 kids, so, somebody always needed something or else I was awake, waiting for one of the older ones to come home. Now I COULD sleep, but the brain just doesn't shut down long enough for a totally good night's sleep. Ah well, I can always nap a few minutes during the day.

I like Reese's but hate peanut butter ice cream. For me, I guess it depends on how you use it.
It's wonderful for have-a-heart traps. All the varmints love it.
