Goes good with some fruit like grapes too, and pears, etc. Hello and good day to you all.

Oh, yes, Rozina - tangy cheese & grapes - gorgeous! Love cheese & apple together too - a sharpish apple like Granny Smith....mmmmmm!

Yes Grannies are nice and sharp, even on their own as are cheese bits too. But most things go together better in pairs.

Aug 23, 2013
No...I have ate them separate...but shall try it...sounds GREAT. I also like to nibble on a raw ginger root to soothe my tummy and help with digestion of food.

Used to love pepper jack but my tummy says "no" these days. Boohoo. Love all but Swiss.
How about Welch Rabbit (rarebit? )or a fondue?

Welsh Rarebit :) Toast with a cheese/mustard mix with some good British beer then grilled.

I'm a Philistine as I'm happy with a grilled cheese sandwich with ketchup, of course!

Not a Philistine. You just have wide ranging tastes. I like a grilled cheese with pepperoni (turkey ones)slices, sliced tomato, buttered toast and Heinz 57 sauce. Toast the white bread. Butter one side. Put it on a cookie sheet buttered side down.
Put 57 sauce to taste then assemble cheese, paperonis and tomato. Yum.

Forgot to say put it in the oven until the cheese melts with a slight brown crust.
Also forgot to say love rarebit also--butter melted in pot. Add some milk and cheese and hot mustard.
When the cheese is melted add the beer and pour over toast. Yummy.
