Weather is too cold and blustery for an autumn walk today. I could use a walk under some big old oaks. Old trees give such a sense of stability and well-being.

Thanks trynfindit. Yes they do. I love the gnarled ones that seem to have the struggles of their life's story recorded in their bark. They have endured and survived.

I was just talking to a friend about how much we are comforted by old trees. She is facing a serious operation which will reveal if she has cancer. Please pray for her that the tumors are benign.
Wow forget about fall and Indian summer Today we got rain and then it already turned to snow never remembered it ever snowing before Thanksgiving. Luckily the ground is wet and it is not sticking around. Have a great November all.
When Little I live in Michigan (Detroit) and it would always snow before Thanksgiving or it would snow on Thanksgiving Day. Never failed. Loved it. Where are you?
