Reminds me of growing up in West Palm Beach. Always loved coconut palms. This one looks like Hawaii.

Seems like I've seen thhis tree before. Do all palm trees look alike? I'll have to travel to all the places that have palm trees to find that out now, won't I?

God bless you all.

No not all palm trees look alike. There are several different kinds. Some cities but the big palms along some of the main streets in their city or town.

The ocean is a vast place. Having been in the Navy I know what is like to see nothing but water on all points of the compass. That said if the ship is large enough you do not feel like you are on the ocean. Aircraft Carriers do not move at all in a 3 to 5 foot sea. It take a major storm like a hurricane or typhoon to move them.

My first husband was in the Navy. I was able to be included on a "family cruise" in San Francisco Bay aboard the USS Enterprise. Those air craft carriers are indeed huge ships and you cannot feel them move at all. Watching it go under the Golden Gate bridge was amazing. I held my breath until it had safely passed under as it surely looked like it would hit the bridge! After nearly fifty years I can still see that as if I were there.

I spent 9 months on the USS Enterprise on a Mediterranean cruise. It was a wonderful experience.
