I am by the sea and it is nice and warm, today we had a very cloudy day but the sunset was just beautifull with a full rainbow going all tje way from one side of the bay to the other. This is in Acapulco Mexico.

Oh, I love Mexico, wish I could go back there. Lucky you! All those poor people that live in cold places that do these puzzles. I'm in Brisbane, Qld, Australia, usually nice & warm with lots of sunshine. But lots of rain/showers this summer.

I know I've done this before and loved it and still loving it! It's 1/20/13 and the sun is not shining and it has been one of the coldest winters here in Yakima, Washington. I am so ready for Spring!

Just the thing to brighten up a dull, wet, Winter's morning! We've had the wettest year on record here in the uk, so thanks C4J for bringing a spot of sunshine to cheer things up weather-wise.

Netta, I do not think that Noah and the Ark as had as much rain as the U. K. 'S had this last year, I am heartily sick of the sight and sound of it. One thing to give thanks for is we have not had any flooding…..yet

You're so right, Barbaranne. Though we've been very lucky too (touch wood! ) - No flooding, thank God.

I'm up North - in Liverpool. Luckily, the Mersey never seems to flood. (Now that I've said that we'll probably be inundated by breakast time! )

Oh, my brother lived in Liverpool until (i think) about the mid-1990s. He had a bistro called the Cafe Tabac.

Now there is a familiar sight. But people were scrambling for the shade these past few days. Must admit have a certain amount of local pride in that these sorts of beaches are within a mile or two of where I live and apart for the heat at the moment and the cooler windy weather in winter, it is pure pleasure to sit on the beach listening to the waves beating a path to one's feet. Great stuff - perhaps my friends on here would like to visit some time :) and you are all welcome.

Sounds idyllic Aussiesapphire, and who knows, maybe one day, when finances permit, I might just take you up on that invitation.

Would love to visit Aussiesapphire, but agreed, finances would not allow. But thanks for sharing with us all the beauty of that ocean. And thanks c4js staff for the warm picture. We have a long winter ahead of us here.

I second that motion! If I had the money I would be there now! What a beautiful scene! Our temperatures hit -6 degrees (that's below zero!!! ) Last night. My husband had to chisel the ice and snow off his car to get to work! I love in Idaho, USA and we have our own polar weather zone! :) Aussiesapphire I am a little envious right now enjoy the beaches and think of the rest of us as you dip your toes in the ocean!

Oh, would love to come! Always wanted to visit Austrilia. Just imagine, we could sit on the sand with the warm water lapping at our toes. Sounds heavenly right now. Sigh, maybe some day.

My husband is from MN and when he left there some years ago had a very low wind chill factor, 73 deg below, and six feet of snow on the ground. He said apart from our very hot Christmas Day and night that he doesn't miss it a bit. So wheeeeeeee, as they say in the south, y'all c'mon over and we can have a party.
