High in the mountains of Lhasa, Tibet, Potala Palace stands as proudly now as it did in the 17th century, when it was built. The original residence of Buddhism's Dalai Lama until 1959 when the 14th Dalai Lama was forced to flee, this jigsaw puzzle is now a World Heritage Site.

Nice jigsaw puzzle. I have great respect for the Dalai Lama. His books are wonderful instructional offerings.

Whenever I've seen a special about Tibet it amazes me that anybody could live in that bleak (though majestic) area. It seemed as if therre were just huge rocky peaks and swift cataracts. Few trees or shrubs were evident. I'll bet the ones in the puzle were imported.
I'm looking forward to getting some new plants I ordered for the yard. It's always exciting to get something new.
Wishing you that excitement today.
