I started feeding birds since the weather is so cold. So far Cardinals, blue jays & woodpeckers, mostly.

No time for the puzzle today. Our dehumidifier started leaking and my husband, in an effort to fix it, caused it to get worse and it so waterlogged the basement rug that I had to spend hours removing the waterlogged rug and backing before it bled into everything. It ruined one of my paintings. Happily it was one I did not care about. Then the day got better as I went to the bag day at the library book sale and got about 15 classical cd's and a few old movies and books all for 3 dollars. Now that's the kind of shopping I love.

I love the old movies too - what did you get? My special love is the musicals - just magic! Hope you have a better day tomorrow!!!!

Thanks, Jiggler. I love the musicals too. There weren't any good old ones out there that I don't have--as in most Rogers and Hammersteins. I have lots--Carousel, South Pacific, Show Boat--then Lerner and Lowe-My Fair Lady. Plus the King and I, Sound of Music, Camelot--but they ruined it by taking out the music for the most part, Would like to have Kismet and Kiss Me Kate but no luck so far. Also have Pajama Game, Singing in the Rain, and some new ones like Rent and Chorus Line, and Evita. I just got Phantom this time around. Would also Like On a Clear Day. Too bad they never made Promises, Promises into a musical movie. I saw that on Broadway and loved it. Then for dramas--Road to Perdition and Gangs of New York(for my husband who liked them, not me) --I have others but have to go. Out of time.
How about you. What do you have?
