My first time trying a round puzzle. Quite good fun...even if it did take me 6, 5 min to do it :-). A beautiful hot day in Johannesburg. Blue skies with just a light breeze after the rain last night. Have a gorgeous day everyone!

So much of this wonderful world we live in to see.

"It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop."
Confucius

"Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground."
Theodore Roosevelt

My home is my palace and I love being there. God bless all you lovely people, take care. Hugs.

Good morning Aussie. It's 5am and all is quiet except the dog snoring. I have some of my favorite travel shows on the t.v., it's about the only way I get to travel anymore. Where do you find all your quotes? They really are wonderful and thought provoking. All you puzzlers out there have a fantastic Friday!!! Be safe.

Aussie, love the Confucius quote, gives me encouragement. There are a lot of times I wonder if I'm making any progress at all...but at least I haven't stopped! ;-)

Aussie, I feel the same way. My home is my palace. When I go inside and shut the door, I know I'm safe and warm. Friends are welcome at any time. I thank God for this daily.

Hi darambo, I google something that is relevant to the puzzle, eg "palace quotes" of there is nothing suitable there I Google "encouragement", "motivational" happy, love etc and there are heaps of them out there in internet land lol. I can just see you watching your travelogues and laughing at something, waking your poor husband lol. Big hugs to both of you.

Kjd - with me the progress seems to get slower as time progresses. But I eventually get there. We had some really drenching rain yesterday and needed it. I had just had a load of garden soil spread the day before, so good timing. Still overcast this morning, but lovely and cool. Hugs.

That would be a lot of fun. Two more classes before I graduate with my Associates in Psychology. Been stressing out a lot lately. I m also preparing for my upcoming wedding. My husband and I are renewing our vows after 38 years of wedded bliss. April 8th is graduation and May 16th is wedding. Please keep this in prayer. Still trying to decide how want this wedding to go. I am wearing a long white dress, not a regular wedding dress with veil and train. No tuxes for the guys. I never had a real wedding so we decided this would be my special day. My daughter says I cannot wear white, no maid of honor or best man. I do not want any hard feeling with anyone, but I am really beside myself. Any ideas!!! Thanks and I will keep you all posted.

Mamag15 -- saw this posted on-line and agree heartily: "Many couples renew their vows with a traditional ceremony, but there are a few dos and don'ts. White dress: Do. (Nowadays, white is regarded as a symbol of the joy of a wedding.) Train and veil: Don't. (Both are usually worn by a woman who hasn't yet been married.) You can choose any date you want; couples who renew on their wedding anniversary do so for sentimental reasons. Finally, it's inappropriate to mention anything about gifts—even the fact that you're discouraging them—when sending wedding invitations. The best way to let guests know that you don't expect presents is by word of mouth. Have your mom, sister, and other close relatives spread the word." So, congratulations on your graduation in April, and have a wonderful wedding in white in May!

Mamag-How romantic. God bless your 38 year anniversary remarriage. Use this as an opportunity to design your own ceremony. There are no boundaries like the ones an original wedding has so go for broke. Do it up the way you want it. If you want other people to be happy ask for their ideas--they are the ones who will be in it with you. Remember this is something you do not have to do but are choosing to do so stop worrying and just go for it!

Mamag16, This is your day, wear what makes YOU happy...if that's green with pink polka dots, go for it! lol Seriously, I think it's great when folks renew their vows, reminds them and everyone else how committed they are to each other. May 16th was my parents anniversary. If they were both still living they'd be coming up on 67 years! Have a Blessed day!

It's wonderful you remember something like that, kjd. My husband is that way, too. You know, I think it would have been 67 for my parents. They had me the year after they were married.

Pixipixil, I was a late 'surprise'. Mom was 40, Dad was 44 when I came along!

My dad was afraid the bomb made him sterile (he was in the South Pacific in WWII) and wanted a baby as soon as he and mom got married. My mom wasn't happy about that but gave him me. (He wanted a boy.--Oh well.) They were around 30 because the war kept them apart.

Thank you all for the help. I am wearing a long white dress but nothing really formal. My sisters are helping me with the planning. And kjd3682, I think green with pink polka dots Fingerfoods such as little sandwiches, deli tray with different meats and cheeses, little rolls, chips, cookies, cupcakes, and a wedding cake. Carrot cake with light blue frosting. You are all invited. The more the merrier. Seriously, I am planning on an open invitation with my church family as I have no real close friends here. God bless y'al and I am taking all advice from ya'l.

A little bit, praise the Lord, and thank you for your prayers and concern. Hope you were not adversely affected by the snow storm. The news last night said it is really bad in the UK right now. We have a state election today and will be glad that all the hype leading up to it will be over and that the right party gets in. We are fortunate enough to do a postal vote as I can no long stand in long lines waiting to vote. Stay safe and keep warm. Hugs.

Hugs to you, Aussie. I pray for the right leaders to be elected in the US. I am praying for the same right now for Australia. What state of Australia are you in? I didn't even know you guys called it states and not territories. I have my atlas out. I'm going to look to see if I can get an idea, but you'll still need to tell me.
Hugs back at you and your husband.

Hi pixi, unfortunately the election did not go well. It seems every time this particular party gets in we get into massive debt and they are in again. We are in Queensland on the eastern side of Australia and in the southeast corner near Brisbane. If you google Bribie Island you will learn a lot about the island on which we live. My husband is out at his car this very moment hooking the car up to a battery charger. Hope that it all it needs and no damage was done to the battery in the accident. He seems to be a bit less despondent this morning. Thanks Pixi and hugs.

Hi kjd and pixi, it is now fully charged but he hasn't tried it yet. Had to go for my three monthly blood test this morning and he has a scan this afternoon and will be using my car. It is a Daihatsu Charade and a great and reliable little car almost 19 years old, but looks new as I have taken good care of it. Thanks for your care. Hugs.
