Mykonos was my favorite Greek island. Everything was painted blue and white like the Greek flag. Absolutely enjoyable.

These mills are pretty and interesting. I don't have a bucket List. I like staying home and viewing places online or on the TV.

I looked at the caption and immediately a song popped into my head: then I realised - Nana Mouskouri singing "Star of Mykonos". (I think that's how her name's spelled??? )

Apparently these mills aren't used anymore for their original purposes, but are now used as museums, storage, and housing. I wonder how well they would have caught the wind - or, is it because the wind is strong enough, there doesn't need to be much of a surface for the wind to catch to start the windmill moving.

It is an interesting puzzle and an interesting place. I've had to study Greece in the past, but have never had the pleasure to visit there. It's still on my Bucket List. :)

Hi Hockeyfan, It's always interesting to find out what is on a persons Bucket List. What's on yours? Besides visiting Greece, I would like to visit Alaska, Norway, Sweden and the Fjords, St. Petersburg, Russia. Still possible. :)
