Ta da ta da ta da
ta duddle de ta da (The Mexican Hat dance in the rare case you didn't get the tune hahahaha)

First thing that came to mind.

The comic and the tragic lie inseparably close, like light and shadow. — Socrates

The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain. — Kahlil Gibran

Good night and God bless all of you as I dance my way into the living room hahahaha. Hugs.

Aussiesapphire I wish there was a search on here so I could go back and look at all of the great quotes you have shared. I've started collecting them but I'm sure they go back years! I always love them, thanks for sharing. Hugs

Bopitextreme - now you have made me feel guilty as I have not share any quotes for some time, but will get back to it. Just been enjoying those shared by Elijah. Huigs.

Always loved the Gibran one. I've saved lots of these through the years.

I had a sombrero once from the first time my parents took me out west. I think I would like to live out west and visit the east now. The winters here are too long. I'd like to be in the east for September and beginning of October and end of May and June. The weather the rest of the year you can keep. That means nine months when it is uncomfortable to be outdoors.
Here we go with the wildfires again. It's one reason I don't insist on leaving here. We are in a relatively "safe" area weatherwise--at least for now.
Prayers for any of you in those dangerous zones of fire, wind and flood. My heart goes out to you.

When I was in real estate I worked with a couple from Maine who were moving to Florida. I asked him what the weather was like in Maine and he said, "11 and a half months of winter and two weeks of really bad sledding".

But from pictures and a TV series set in Maine, to all accounts a very beautiful state. Hugs trynfindit.

The horrible weather caused events in so many parts of this country have changed my mind about selling the house and moving to North Carolina after retirement. The oppressive heat and tornadoes in the South caused me to sell my 13.5 acres on the Dan River in the western NC foothills. Beautiful area with friendly locals and low taxes. But periodically dangerous to live in..

Hi retirenow. We had looked at Arkansas, and parts of Texas, OK & MO. It is so fortunate my husband changed his mind about retiring (although he finally is now) or we might be living in the bullseye of all those floods and tornadoes.

I had a picture of a sombrero just like this one, while sitting on a burro in Cancun, Mexico. Fun place to visit.
