I love this web site! Never posted a comment before. I enjoy doing puzzles, can't do them off line as my husband takes them over and thinks it's a competition, where as I do it to relax. Anyways I really love the beautiful pictures and so easy to use this site.

Glad you got your computer up & running again. Finally got our tree up, running so behind this year. I also depend on my son to keep me on line. He is 26 and studying to be a pharmacy tech, wants to go into nuclear medicine or compounding. I guess I better stop putting off my work, as it doesn't look like the good fairy is going to do it, if anyone see's her send her this way.Be safe.

Think we are done with my computer now...sure hope so, but is running much better. He went to pick up his son (14 yr) for the holidays, he lives with his grandmother & she is going on an adult cruise. Think I'm done with the Christmas things now (I hope). Hubby & I wll be ready for our nice quiet home after the holidays.

Do any of you remember this?

I never saw a purple cow,
I never hope to see one,
But I can tell you anyhow,
I'd rather see then be one.
This was in my high school literature book!!

God Bless and have a nice week end.

I have a ceramic coffee creamer cow that is white with pale purple (lavender) spots that was my Moms. She got it from her Mom who called it her purple cow. My granddaughter loves it. She has always been fascinated by it since she was tiny - she's almost 10 now and it still fascinates her. So guess who it goes to next :)

I first saw it in a World book encyclopedia Childcraft volume. As a child I would thumb through the books just looking for anything to catch my attention. You can't really do that with an online encyclopedia.

I do remember it, also. I believe it was in my penmanship book. Another cow one I like, and know I've shared here before is:

Birdie, birdie in the sky dropped some whitewash in my eye. I'm a big girl, I won't cry, I'm just glad that cows don't fly!

Does anyone else miss "Dallas" and JR, Bobby, and all the rest of the crew? In my opinion, we sure do need some GOOD new TV shows. I can't seem to find anything to watch anymore. I do still watch "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy". All of those people are getting gray haired as am I.

Out on the plains down near Santa Fe
I met a cowboy ridin' the range one day
And as he jogged along I heard him singin'
A most peculiar cowboy song
It was a ditty, he learned in the city
Comma ti yi yi yeah, comma ti yippity yi yeah

Get along, get hip little dogies
Get along, better be on your way
Get along, get hip little dogies
And he trucked 'em on down that old fairway
Singin' his cow cow boogie in the strangest way
Comma ti yi yi yeah, comma ti yippity yi yeah

Dallas has been back on for several years. I don't watch it but I keep abreast of what is going on through the TV guide. I know Larry Hagman, J.R. died in real life and he also died on the show. I just read in today's paper that Linda Gray, Sue Ellen, is 74. My how time flies. As far as comedies, I love "The Big Bang Theory". There are a few of the new shows coming this season that look like they might be good. Time will tell.

My hubby and I are so fed up with the majority of television programming that we check out quite a few movies, travel videos, British programs, etc. from our public library.

I am watching a lot of British programs, but we have a public television station in Chicago and they show a lot of good programs. I am not much for the regular stations.

Thank goodness for cable TV. I watch a lot of the shows on the Food Network, History, & A&E. I do enjoy the Game Show Network, especially in the morning when they show the old $25, 000.00 Pyramid, Match Game etc. Right now we are hooked on the Baseball games. Go Detroit Tigers.

Ooooo would hate to be trying to stay ahead of him lol

"Two cows are grazing in the field. One cow says to the other, "Hey Doris, you worried about this Mad-Cow Disease epidemic? " The other cow turns and says, "Why would I be? I'm a chicken."

Q: What do you get when you sit under a cow?
A: A pat on the head.

Sorry folks, best I can do for today. Had a really special birthday, thanks to all who made it possible. Good night, God bless and hugs to all.
