So sweet, and they grow out of them so quickly.

Even with the fan on here tonight I can feel the perspiration running down my back and it has to be really hot and humid for me to do that as I rarely perspire.

So good night and God bless. Hugs.

Teeth chattering day here. At least the car seat is heated. Very heavy winds.

Ladies don't prespire, AS. Horses sweat, gentlemen prespire, and ladies glow!

I will trade your heat for my 17 degrees. It is super cold.
I love baby shoes. People used to have them bronzed. I don't know if they still do or not. God bless you and have a great night.

Abacii--we have our first car with heated seats and don't know how we ever lived w/o it. Will get next one that way unless we move.

A "toasty" 23 F here in eastern Massachusetts today with a wind chill to make it feel like 6 F. At least, it is sunny out giving the perception of being warmer than it is!

Wouldn't trade my 30 for hot. I don't like hot weather. Do you not have air conditioning? We hardly ever turn ours on. My husband likes hot weather but not me.

Nice to hear everyone is keeping their cool lol and jud13 my bedroom is air conditioned and a real haven on these hot nights. The mornings are cool here but by midday it begins to turn very hot. I also have a lovely pergola where there is usually a nice sea breeze blowing. Hugs.

Aussie, I'm "glowing" right along with you and it's somewhere around 30 degrees (F) outside. My bodily thermostat is totally out of whack (from the MS) and I'm HOT all the time! I woke up early this morning with the bed soaking wet from the pillow to the feet...Hubby's doing laundry now, and I'm getting ready for a cold shower! I wish I could share some of my warmth with those of you in the Northern Hemisphere!

I love those little baby shoes. I gave my only daughters, daughter her little baby shoes// She has them on a little shelf in her babies room.
I finally did it. I'm getting a cleaning woman starting tomorrow and she's going to clean my house thoroughly once a month. She's going to wash and wax my kitchen cabinets and louver doors, do bathrooms and mopping, dusting. running sweeper etc. I'm so happy. I don't have the strength to do it all any more and it has really accumulated. It's better then living in a nursing home. This way I can better enjoy myself reading, playing on my computer or anything else I want to do and know things are clean. It sounds like a dream. She has very good credentials. She use to work for my vet who is just down the road and knows people that I know. I just can't stand a dirty house so this will really help. I'll let you know how it all works out. Today I'm doing my bed and my little doggies bed and making a path for her to start. :-)

take good care of yourself. We got more snow last night and it is cold.
This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
God loves you and so do I!

So glad you can hire help, Jingles - a clean house is important to mental health, plus, it makes you feel good to look around and see that everything is orderly. Do hope this lady works out for you.

Oh, Jingles...I am SO jealous!! I haven't been able to clean for 3 years, and my hubby won't let me get a cleaning woman. :( I love a clean home, too, and hubby-dear thinks he can do the job. He runs the vacuum and puts dishes in the dishwasher, but ignores all the dust and the sticky stuff on the counter tops. Ewww. He does the best he can, but he wasn't raised to be a maid, cook, and hold down a full-time job. I kept thinking that maybe I'd get better some day and start cleaning again, but my doctor now tells me, no, I won't get any better from now on. I was told yesterday that since I have MS, I might qualify for home healthcare which MIGHT include cleaning service, too. See? There's always a silver lining!!

Congrats on getting your cleaning woman! Have a wonderful day and God bless!

That's great that you're getting help. I've been trying to get home housekeeping help for some time, but it would be easier if I had Medicaid (I have Medicare and a supplemental policy - the supplemental policy would pay for 35 hours per week of home housekeeping, but they don't work with any local companies).

Jingles, I am so glad to hear from you. I hadn't seen anything in so long, I was worried that something was wrong..It is so cold here in Georgia, but Sunny. This year I hate the cold. Don' know why the change in me. I want to get someone to clean my house It needs it and so do I.

Not thinking very well today so did a small one - 88 classic. Still no heat in my house. Been cold since Sunday. The electricians finally found the short in the wiring going under a door leading outside. Got that fixed but, since all this started, the furnace fan is not working properly and when I turn it on, it only blows cold air, even though the furnace is running. I now have a call in for the furnace guy(who was the first person I called) to come back and try to make it work again! Many cold days and many dollars later, maybe it will be warm tonight. Please pray that it finally all comes together and I can finally be warm again. Being cold does horrible things to my fibromyalgia! Cold and in pain! OK, enough whining for one day.

May God bless you all with an environment that is comfortable for you - not too hot and not too cold.

Finally! It is all fixed. It's 72 F (22 C) in my house tonight. No shivers, no sweater with hood to warm ears, no blankie (I may have to revisit that one). Thank you God!

Nearby areas had huge water main break. Folks on city water are advised to use bottled. We have well (TBTG) and never switched off.
Prayers the main is fixed soon.
That whole water issue is a sore spot for me. It's one of our most precious resources but we aren't protecting it as we should.
Wishing you all steady steps.
