Many years ago when I lived in Calif. I had a lime tree growing in a wooden half-barrel that I think originally may have originally contained whiskey. It never was very productive for me. The blossoms always blew away. It resides happily now on my son's deck. He brings me nice fresh limes from it once in awhile.
